[edit] Illustrated biography online

Thomas Traill was an admirable man, typical of many Orcadians in his interest in the world around him and his desire to share his interest and knowledge. It seems appropriate that he spent his last years editing the Encyclopedia Britannica. There is a fairly lengthy illustrated biography of him at [1] that I'd like to offer a link to.
