Talk:Thomas Schmidheiny

I doubt the Swiss Federal Institute handed out BA's at the time of T. Schmidheiny's graduation. More appropriate would be diploma in ..., eqv. to a M.A./MSc. The Bachelor and Master's degree are not traditionally issued in German speaking countries, and until very recently, it has been common to receive a degree called 'diploma in ...'. The fact that people attending high school at a higher level, called gymnasium, doesn't end until they're aged 19 or 20, makes the diploma degree in most cases equivalent to a Master's here. I note this here because there seems to be a lot of misunderstanding about the german degree system, not to be picky. 216.7.9.34 16:28, 8 June 2007 (UTC)
