[edit] Can this become a Good Article?

Please comment if you have any thoughts about improving the article, or getting to pass GA (at least). I'm particularly struck by the heading above which says it's an 'Unknown-importance history of science article.' That verdict ought to be corrected somehow! EdJohnston 19:34, 21 October 2007 (UTC)

Morgan's great work was done between 1910 and 1930, in my opinion. Does anyone object to further expansion of the sections now called 'Columbia' and 'Caltech?' Ideally this might involve sub-articles. Because of its importance, I'm wondering if we need a category like Category:Drosophila genetics. Or maybe a suitable navigation template. At present we DO have a Category:American geneticists that contains Morgan, Sturtevant, Bridges, Muller, Dobzhansky et al. Actually it is about to contain Dobzhansky since he obviously belongs.
