The article currently contains a block of unformatted text. It was a cut and paste taken from the web at Colonial Hall. I've provided the link rather than repeat the text. Colonial Hall in turn rekeyed (with some spelling updates) the entry from Goodrich's Lives of the Signers to the Declaration of Independence from 1856.
I am about to delete the block. In general, I've found Goodrich to have a lot of glowing descriptions of personality, but its not always accurate. Then I'll get at least a bit of expansion to the remaining article. Anybody who wants to review the deleted material, please use the link given above. Thanks, Lou I 09:23, 26 Nov 2004 (UTC)
