Talk:Thom Jones
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
It would be terrific to get a link (or just to find, in the first place!) something that authoritatively explains why Jones has gone quiet in the past six or seven years.
- It seems as though that has been done. it would be nice to think the update was by thom himself... --Danbrown99 10:26, 21 August 2007 (UTC)
So, what books of his are available right now? I know of The Pugilist at Rest, Cold Snap and Sonny Liston was a Friend of Mine. At his page over at Chuck Palahniuk's site [1] , there's also mention of a 128-page photography book, titled Anna Gaskell, evidently by a photographer called Anna Gaskell, where TJ is listed as author. Is this accurate? What's his relation to that photography book and Ms. Gaskell? - if there is one (relation). You can also find that book listed under him, if you ever searched his name at Amazon, but at the book's Amazon page there's nothing specific about that Thom Jones being this particular author we're discussing here, so I was wondering if that is accurate. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 79.167.4.40 (talk) 23:14, 22 October 2007 (UTC)
- i've seen that book mentioned on chucks site before and tried searching for it. the only thing i can assume is that maybe thom helped to assemble the photos or wrote small parts about them. --Danbrown99 16:00, 23 October 2007 (UTC)
- if you want to find it, just search for thom jones in the book section of amazon dot com and it should be in the first page of results. but the thing is, that book is only 128 pages long and its previewed pages at amazon show no text. it makes me wonder if this thom jones had any participation in it at all, or they are referring to someone else. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 79.167.22.81 (talk) 19:04, 23 October 2007 (UTC)
