[edit] Welcome from Redwolf24
Welcome!
Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. We as a community are glad to have you and thank you for creating a user account! Here are a few good links for newcomers:
- The Five Pillars of Wikipedia
- How to edit a page
- Editing, policy, conduct, and structure tutorial
- Picture tutorial
- How to write a great article
- Naming conventions
- Manual of Style
- Merging, redirecting, and renaming pages
- If you're ready for the complete list of Wikipedia documentation, there's also Wikipedia:Topical index.
Yes some of the links appear a bit boring at first, but they are VERY helpful if you ever take the time to read them.
Remember to place any articles you create into a category so we don't get orphans.
I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! By the way, please be sure to sign your name on Talk and vote pages using four tildes (~~~~) to produce your name and the current date, or three tildes (~~~) for just your name. If you have any questions, see the help pages, add a question to the village pump or ask me on my Talk page. Again, welcome.

[edit] comment
There used to be a comment here about my webcest article, but David Conrad is a stand-up guy, so I removed it. I put my justification for webcest on my user page. Thirty3 17:53, 5 August 2005 (UTC)
[edit] Webcest
I was going to mention this on the VfD, but by the time I got around to it the vote had closed. No matter. A good place for neologisms in the wikiverse is the Wiktionary:Wiktionary:List of protologisms. You may wish to add Webcest to that list. Thanks. -- Sethjohnson 01:24, 9 August 2005 (UTC)
Please do not vote multiple times using sockpuppets. Thanks. -- BMIComp (talk, HOWS MY DRIVING) 23:05, 8 August 2005 (UTC)
- Comment: Please don't make unfounded accusations. I only voted once. Thirty3 23:15, 8 August 2005 (UTC)
- True, your username did not. You and other users mysteriously both misspelled User as Oser. Sorry, let me explain myself. I usually assume that the user who wrote the article is most likely the sockpuppet. Seeing similarities between your and some of the other votes reinforced this belief that you were sockpuppeting. I appologize for coming off as acusatory though, that wasn't my reason for the comment. Regardless of whether or not you are sockpuppeting, seeing that this is a neologism, this will almost certainly be deleted. If you are or know of anybody who is sock/meatpuppeting, please let them know that this is a futile attempt to stuff the ballot box. Admins who close out the VfD discussion see through this sort of thing. Not to mention, VfD is not decided by merely how many people vote one way or the other. Thanks. -- BMIComp (talk, HOWS MY DRIVING) 23:36, 8 August 2005 (UTC)
- When did I misspell User as Oser? Anyway, I don't know any of the people sock puppeting. If you read my explanation for creating the article, you'll understand why I created the page and that I don't really care if it gets deleted. Thirty3 23:42, 8 August 2005 (UTC)
- Yeah, I never acuse people on here, and this was not a good time to start. I appologized before, but I'm appologizing again, this time not using accusatory language in the process. I realize now I've made a mistake, another user changed your comment afterwards. That doesn't matter, shouldn't have accused you in the first place. Sorry for biting. =/. -- BMIComp (talk, HOWS MY DRIVING) 23:55, 8 August 2005 (UTC)
