[edit] Commercial use of Image:Tamworthlongyardgolfcourse.jpg
Hello, this is a message from an automated bot. A tag has been placed on Image:Tamworthlongyardgolfcourse.jpg, by another Wikipedia user, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. The tag claims that it should be speedily deleted because Image:Tamworthlongyardgolfcourse.jpg has a copyright license type implying some type of restricted use, such as for non-commercial use only, or for educational use only or for use on Wikipedia by permission, which was either uploaded on or after 2005-05-19 or is not used in any articles (CSD I3). While it might seem reasonable to assume that such files can be freely used on Wikipedia, this is in fact not the case[1][2]. Please do not upload any more files with these restrictions on them, because content on Wikipedia needs to be compatible with the GNU Free Documentation License, which allows anyone to use it for any purpose, commercial or non-commercial. See our non-free content guidelines for more more information.
If you created this media file and want to use it on Wikipedia, you may re-upload it (or amend the image description if it has not yet been deleted) and use the license {{GFDL-self}} to license it under the GFDL, or {{cc-by-sa-2.5}} to license it under the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike license, or use {{PD-self}} to release it into the public domain.
If you did not create this media file but want to use it on Wikipedia, there are two ways to proceed. First, you may choose one of the fair use tags from this list if you believe one of those fair use rationales applies to this file. Second, you may want to contact the copyright holder and request that they make the media available under a free license.
If the article has already been deleted, see the advice and instructions at WP:WMD. This bot is only informing you of the nomination for speedy deletion, it did not nominate Image:Tamworthlongyardgolfcourse.jpg itself. Feel free to leave a message on the bot operator's talk page if you have any questions about this or any problems with this bot. If you have any questions about what to do next or why your image was nominated for speedy deletion please ask at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. Thanks. --Android Mouse Bot 2 15:45, 12 July 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Possibly unfree Image:Golfcourselongyard.jpg
An image that you uploaded or altered, Image:Golfcourselongyard.jpg, has been listed at Wikipedia:Possibly unfree images because its copyright status is disputed. If the image's copyright status cannot be verified, it may be deleted. You may find more information on the image description page. You are welcome to add comments to its entry at the discussion if you are interested in it not being deleted. Thank you. ShakespeareFan00 16:10, 12 July 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Your Message
okay im really lost with what you send me last --Thirdayparadise 16:14, 12 July 2007 (UTC)
- An image you uploaded has a disputed copyright status, it's been listed on the page noted, so that other editors and admins can review it status. You should read the terms of the source site carefully, as well as those on Wikipedia, In particular the source
site says the commercial use of images from it requires fee payment, this is incompatible with GFDL. ShakespeareFan00 16:20, 12 July 2007 (UTC)
okay thankyou for the clarification. I read the site wrong and how wiki photos work. Im still new at wikipedia. --Thirdayparadise 16:24, 12 July 2007 (UTC)
[edit] User page
Hi, I'm not the best person to ask about how to design a user page. I have created mine by looking around at other's pages and "stealing" what I thought looked useful. You could ask at the Help desk; they should be able to put you in touch with someone who can help. With the Rugby league project, you might try this:
{{User WikiProject Rugby league}}.
While you are adding to your page you should think about joining WikiProject Australia and WikiProject Australian places. Well done with your work on Tamworth and its suburbs and welcome aboard. -- Mattinbgn/ talk 11:38, 15 July 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Image tagging for Image:Kaseychamberstamworth.JPG
Thanks for uploading Image:Kaseychamberstamworth.JPG. The image has been identified as not specifying the source and creator of the image, which is required by Wikipedia's policy on images. If you don't indicate the source and creator of the image on the image's description page, it may be deleted some time in the next seven days. If you have uploaded other images, please verify that you have provided source information for them as well.

[edit] License tagging for Image:Tamworthpubliccrest.gif
Thanks for uploading Image:Tamworthpubliccrest.gif. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.
For more information on using images, see the following pages:

[edit] Schools in Tamworth
Hi Thirdayparadise. Great work on improving articles on the Tamworth area. However, when creating articles on schools, be aware that they are often prime candidates to be nominated for deletion as non-notable. This especially applies to articles on primary schools such as Tamworth Public School and to one line stubs such as Peel High School. I would not be confident these articles would survive the deletion process in their current state. See Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Tasmania#Deletions - Tasmanian School Stubs for an example of this from Tasmania.
It may be worth creating an article - Schools in Tamworth, New South Wales - listing the schools, suburbs, enrolments, principals etc. and only giving each school its own article when enough content citing reliable, independent sources is available. Cheers, Mattinbgn/ talk 01:22, 4 August 2007 (UTC)
- That would be a good base to start from and you may be able to add some additional fields such as principal, enrolment etc. to the tables if you wish. Let me know if you need a hand although tables are not my strong point either; I tend to copy and paste them from other articles. Don't be put off creating individual articles for the schools if you find enough cited material to make a robust article and let me know if you need a hand. Cheers, Mattinbgn/ talk 01:52, 4 August 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Duplicate images uploaded
Thanks for uploading Image:Tamworth orchard.jpg. A machine-controlled robot account noticed that you also uploaded the same image under the name Image:Tamworth 016 (1408 x 1056).jpg. The copy called Image:Tamworth 016 (1408 x 1056).jpg has been marked for speedy deletion since it is redundant. If this sounds okay to you, there is no need for you to take any action.
This is an automated message- you have not upset or annoyed anyone, and you do not need to respond. In the future, you may save yourself some confusion if you supply a meaningful file name and refer to 'my contributions' to remind yourself exactly which name you chose (file names are case sensitive, including the extension) so that you won't lose track of your uploads. For tips on good file naming, see Wikipedia's image use policy. If you have any questions about this notice, or feel that the deletion is inappropriate, please contact User:Staecker, who operates the robot account. Staeckerbot 15:31, 31 August 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Page move
Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that recently you carried out a copy and paste page move from Daruka Estate to Daruka Estate, New South Wales. Please do not move articles by copying and pasting them because it splits the article's history, which is needed for attribution and is helpful in many other ways. If there is an article that you cannot move yourself using the move link at the top of the page, follow the instructions at Wikipedia:Requested moves. Also, if there are any other articles that you copied and pasted, even if it was a long time ago, please list them at Wikipedia:Cut and paste move repair holding pen. Thank you. — Further, in this case, it does not appear there was any need for a move; Wikipedia convention is to keep article titles as simple as possible, except when necessary to avoid confusion with another article. --Russ (talk) 18:31, 4 September 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Page Move
Hi, just a reminder that when moving pages, you should use the move button on the top of the page, rather than cut, paste and redirect as you did with Forest Hills, New South Wales to Hills Plain, New South Wales. I will tag them both for repair and history merge. It is quick and easy to move a page to a new name but if you need help moving pages in the future please let me know. Cheers, Mattinbgn\ talk 08:09, 20 September 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Disputed fair use rationale for Image:Tamworthcountrymusicfestivallogo.JPG
Thanks for uploading Image:Tamworthcountrymusicfestivallogo.JPG. However, there is a concern that the rationale you have provided for using this image under "fair use" may be invalid.
