[edit] Yankee seasons

Ok, I found a reliable source that I've known for a few years, baseball-reference.com, and you can find stats for those years by going to any one of the respective pages (i.e. 1913 Yankees on baseball-reference.com). As for tables, the formula is simple, just copy and paste this:

[edit] Batting

Note: G = Games played; AB = At Bats; H = Hits; Avg. = Batting Average; HR = Home Runs; RBI = Runs Batted In

Player G AB H Avg. HR RBI
Frank Baker 94 330 97 .294 9 71
Bob Meusel 149 598 190 .318 24 136
Elmer Miller 56 242 72 .298 4 36
Roger Peckinpaugh 149 577 166 .288 8 71
Wally Pipp 153 588 174 .296 8 98
Babe Ruth 152 540 204 .378 59 171
Wally Schang 134 424 134 .316 6 55
Aaron Ward 153 556 170 .306 5 75

(insert proper names and stats in the box, though)

By the way, I still have to add pitching. I'm planning to do all the years the Yankees won the AL or World Series under my current project. Hope this helps. Soxrock 16:43, 12 May 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Soxrock...

can't do this. Soxrock can't say, "I don't want anybody doing these pages for me." This violates WP:OWN, which says that no user can assume ownership of an article. Everybody has the right to edit whichever articles they want. Soxrock has a long history of ignoring official rules and doing what he wishes. If Soxrock says something like this again, simply ignore him. He can't assume ownership over any article. I've notified him of this, as well. --Ksy92003 (talk) 00:26, 6 June 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Seasonal articles

Jaranda (talk ยท contribs) has taken it upon himself to redirect the articles 2006 Kansas City Royals season and 1980 Tampa Bay Buccaneers season. I've saved them and put the underconstruction tag on them, but enough has been said, he's going with the non-notable card. Just an FYI that he is trying to redirect them. [edit] Reggie Jackson

Can you please go to Reggie jacksons talk page and vote for either A's or Yankees colors in the infobox--Yankees10 17:39, 11 August 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Disputed fair use rationale for Image:Supermancover.jpg

Thanks for uploading Image:Supermancover.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale you have provided for using this image under "fair use" may be invalid. Please read the instructions at Wikipedia:Non-free content carefully, then go to the image description page and clarify why you think the image qualifies for fair use. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it will be deleted within a couple of days according to our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot (talk) 08:58, 21 January 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Orphaned non-free media (Image:Sgtdiscocover.jpg)

Thanks for uploading Image:Sgtdiscocover.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BetacommandBot (talk) 04:01, 18 February 2008 (UTC)
