[edit] Re:Finals Systems
I've noticed you've done a bit of work on the finals systems, particularly the NRL's final 8. Do you have any time to clean up these articles and maybe start standardising the articles on finals? I think that an article about finals in general, maybe linking to the individual systems would be good. It could be called simply Finals systems or Play-off systems or something like that. I don't really know, but I think that outside Australia and some countries that have been sportingly influenced by Australia, the various final systems are unknown. Most countries just seem to use straight knockout systems if any at all, so some people might be surprised to find other ways. --ThirdEdition 03:06, 19 September 2005 (UTC)
- Although I don't have much time at the moment, I have a week's holiday next week and I will probably fix up the McIntyre Final Eight System page during that time. I'm definitely interesting in fixing them up and researching them, but I won't really get a chance for a lot of work until late November. AlbinoMonkey (Talk) 07:47, 19 September 2005 (UTC)

[edit] 2005 Semi Final
As you probably know, Adelaide and Port Adelaide played each other in a semi final in the 2005 finals series. Did that match count as a showdown?--M W Johnson 08:34, 7 September 2006 (UTC)
