thisisaknife is a biweekly web show presented by Donal Coonan, produced for Channel 4 in the UK, and released onto their website at around 11:30am every other Thursday.

Originally daily, it ran from January 5 to April 27 2006, and was presented by Donal Coonan, Rachna Suri, Alex Sutton and Susan Hickey.

After a gap of two weeks, it resurfaced on May 11 2006 in its new weekly format of 5-6 minutes. While the show is based around the week's events on the Internet, the focus of the show is using basic stories to make surreal sketches.

As well as Donal, the show has featured appearances from Matt Edmonds, Dan Harkin, Andy King and Leander Deeny.

The show's latest series ran from August 2nd 2007 to September 13th 2007.

thisisaknife was in the iTunes' "Best of 2007 Podcasts" list in both 2006 and 2007.^{[citation needed]}
