This Woman is a 2005 album by LeAnn Rimes. LeAnn's previous album, Twisted Angel was critically panned and was not commercially successful. While promoting This Woman, she stated that it was her return to her "roots", country music. In essence, the album has a strong theme of love, falling in love and marriage. This could be due to LeAnn's own marriage to her back up dancer Dean Shermet. The album was a success on the country charts. The album peaked at number three on the U.S. Billboard 200 Album chart and has received gold status. Like Twisted Angel, LeAnn helped pen tracks on the album ("You Take Me Home", "I Got It Bad" and "When This Woman Loves a Man").

Initially, only 3 singles were slated to be released from the album:

"Nothin' 'Bout Love Makes Sense", a light and bubbly tune about the "feelings" of falling head over heels in love

"Probably Wouldn't Be This Way", a haunting tune about the events following the death of a lover (Lyrics: "You oughta see the way these people look at me / When they see me 'round here talking to this stone")

"Something's Gotta Give", a tune about a woman in her 30's searching for Mr. Right in all the wrong places.

With the success of "Something's Gotta Give" (peaking at number two on Billboard's Hot Country Songs), Curb will release a fourth and final single, "Some People". The song alludes to LeAnn's marriage and how most couples (especially celebrity couples) don't last and yet their love will.

The album also features the track "I Dare You" which was recorded by LeAnn and SHeDAISY (whose member, Kristyn Osborn, penned the song) at the same time. "I Dare You" can be found on SheDaisy's Sweet Right Here.

Worldwide the album went on to sell around 1,000,000 copies including 750,000 in the USA.
