This Way Please

This Way Please is a motion picture filmed in early 1937, and released in theaters on October 7, 1937. Running time is 73 minutes. Referred to as a musical comedy, this motion picture features Charles Rogers, a popular singer from the days of vaudeville entertainment.

Betty Grable plays young Jane Morrow who applies for the job of a theater usherette, and encounters her matinee idol. After he takes a liking to her, he arranges for her to audition in front of an audience. Jane is a hit, making her idol less favorable. Jane soons finds herself engaged to another man, so a battle of romantic wits ensues.

- According to historian Martin Grams, this motion picture was the introduction of Mary Livingstone (Mrs. Jack Benny) and Jim and Marian Jordan (radio's Fibber McGee and Molly). This was also Betty Grable's first motion picture under contract with Paramount Studios.
- This movie was screened in the movie room at the mid atlantic nostalgia convention in Aberdeen, Maryland in September of 2007.
