This Way is the third album by singer/songwriter Jewel, released in 2001 (see 2001 in music). She was looking for a raw, live-sounding album, leading her to be involved in the album's production.[1] Singles included the hits "Standing Still" and "Break Me" as well as the eponymous track "This Way," also found on the soundtrack for the Angelina Jolie film Life or Something Like It. Lastly, "Serve the Ego" was remixed by Hani Num and Mike Rizzo and became a number one hit on the US Club charts. A re-release of This Way is currently available for pre-order on iTunes with an expected release date of August 28. There seems to be no difference between both the first release and that of the 2007 re-release according to the iTunes track listing.
