This Time Around is a 1995 promotional single by Michael Jackson. The track features a rap by The Notorious B.I.G..

The song was shipped out in December 1995 to garner promotion for Michael's One Night Only! concert special for HBO (which was later cancelled when Jackson collapsed from exhaustion during a rehearsal.)
The promo was formatted in three different versions:
- as a stand alone CD single with just the song.
- as a 12" single with remixes
- as a maxi-single with remixes of Earth Song as its b-side. (This was Earth Song 's only promotion in the US. Internationally, it was released as a single, eventually going to #1.)
The song gained so much airplay, it rose to #23 on the Billboard Hot R&B Singles chart.
