This Kind of Love is an album by American singer/songwriter Carly Simon, released in April 2008. It is Simon's 24th studio album, and her first album of original material since The Bedroom Tapes in 2000.
The album is her first to be released via the Starbucks label Hear Music, and will be sold in Starbucks outlets as well as by general music retailers.
Simon has cited Brazilian music as an influence for the 13 track album.[1]
This Kind of Love debuted at number 15 on the U.S. Billboard 200 chart, selling about 23,000 copies in its first week.[2]
