[edit] Notes
The title track was inspired by the suggestion that Cassie Bernall, a student killed in the Columbine High School massacre, had answered "yes" to the question "Do you believe in God?" moments after seeing another student killed for answering "yes" to that same question.
The lyrics speak vividly of what happened, the questions this raised, and the continuing impact on Christian thought:
It was a test we could all hope to pass but none of us would want to take
Faced with the choice to deny God and live, for her there was one choice to make
....
What if tomorrow
What if today
Faced with the question, oh, what would you say?
....
Fall on the mercy and hear yourself praying
"Won't you save me?"
