"This Is How It Feels" was a 1990 single by the Inspiral Carpets. It was their first single in the Top 40, where it reached number 14.
The US music video for "This Is How It Feels" was inspired by the imagery of the British art duo, Gilbert and George, making use of their signature "stained glass" and grid style and their standard iconography.
The song was later covered by the band Carter The Unstoppable Sex Machine.
Noel Gallagher sings backing vocals on the songs chorus.
[edit] Trivia
The song has been chanted by Manchester United fans since the autumn of 2002 to taunt their near neighbours Manchester City.
