This Is Anfield

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

This Is Anfield (.com) is an online Liverpool F.C. fanzine, founded in late 2001 by Matt Ladson and Max Munton, two passionate supporters of the Merseyside club.

The fanzine (often abbreviated to TIA) caters for all things Liverpool FC related with regular articles and columns from well known authors and writers, some of whome who have gone on to produce books about the club. The updates on topical and current affairs surrounding the club are supplemented by a huge archive of club information, history, player profiles, statistics and interviews.

For an unofficial, non-profit, website This Is Anfield has interviewed several former Liverpool players and in summer 2006 conducted an interview with chief executive Rick Parry. Their other major coup was the breaking of Nicolas Anelka's arrival before the mainstream media had the news in 2002, as well as being the first to break news of Robbie Fowler's return to Anfield.
