Thiruvothur Vedapureeswarar Kovil 6th Day Brammotsava Trust

The Thiruvothur Vedapureeswarar Kovil 6th Day Brammothsava Trust, also know as Brahmin Community Trust of Cheyyar, is a trust formed by the devotees of the Lord Vedapureeswarar Temple of Thiruvathupuram. At the request of the authorities of the temple the devotees of the brahmin community got together to celebrate the 6th day of the 10 day Brammotsavam festival[1] by forming this Trust.
Originally, the devotees got together and formed a committee to conduct the 6th day celebrations on a grand scale. Subsequently, the committee formed this Trust in order to regulate the activities of the committee as well as to make permanent arrangements for a smooth conduct of the 6th day celebration.
The Trust was registered in the year 2006 with its registered office in Tamil Nadu, India. The activities of the Trust is being attended by 6 office bearers of the Trust and assisted by 12 governing body members.
The main objective of the Trust is to raise funds for celebrating the 6th day function of the annual Brammotsava festival.
