Thirumurugan s/o Veeran also known as V. Thirumurugan (born on January 9, 1983) is a Malaysian footballer who is a defender for Kedah FA. He is a member of the Malaysia national football team. He made his national début at the 2005 Manila Sea Games, which Malaysia won the bronze medal in the football event.
He previously played for Perak, but was not retained for the 2007 season. This paved the way for him to rejoin his home team, Kedah.He is Malaysia's number one right back at the moment.
