A 7 song release that comes in at around 25 minutes is not an album. By 1985, the regular length for an album was roughly 40 minutes. Secondly, many EPs have been sometimes well over 20 minutes (check numerous Oasis singles, or The Smashing Pumpkins' "Zero" EP which is 40 minutes in length). This release is a mini LP, not a full-length one.

A mini-LP is still an LP - the clue is in the name. In the days before CDs, albums lasting less than 30 minutes were not all that uncommon. Full-length albums typically lasted 30-50 minutes. Mini-LPs were introduced in the early 1980s and generally ran between 20 and 30 minutes. Vinyl EP's typically lasted between 10 and 20 minutes and had 3-5 tracks.--Michig (talk) 16:39, 23 March 2008 (UTC)
