"but is assigned by historians to the period between the fourth and sixth centuries AD by scholars."

which schoolars gave this date??

research schoolars in history and literature have assigned this date

presently available evidence suggests rig veda's period is about 1500 BCE.all other sacred texts appeared later. in these no mention of moolar or his songs

BCE 3000 is much earlier than vedic period. Pali sanskrit were the language in north. the work thirumanthiram is in tamil whose language is not the language of changam period. It is uses the same linguistc features of "bakthi literature" of 4th to 6 th century AD.

To believe the story of humans living for 3000 yrs and singing one song each year is insanity.
