[edit] Does the image show the right species
Today (January 3rd) a visitor on the Dutch-language Wikipedia reported that the image on the nl:Diklipharder article is incorrect. The same image is shown in this article (Thicklip grey mullet) and on Chelon.
The remark is placed on nl:Overleg:Diklipharder. I give a rough translation:
-
- "When I looked up the fish species Harder (Dutch name = Harder, English translation = Mullet?), more specifically the subspecies "diklipharder" (litteral: Thick-lip-mullet, Chelon labrosus , = Thicklip grey mullet?) an image was shown that clearly shows a Zeebaars (Dutch name, English translation = Sea bass ? European seabass ? ). In the right upper corner, you can see a small image of a "Harder" (mullet), but a non-expert will hardly understand that that species is meant...
- I'd like a clearer image. Kind regards, "
I report this here, to increase the changes that some expert notices this remark and resolves the issue.
I someone can give a definite answer, I would appreciate if you could leave a small note (in English) on the Dutch wikipedia page nl:Overleg:Diklipharder as well. Johan Lont (talk) 16:57, 3 January 2008 (UTC)
