Wikipedia talk:There is no Book
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
There may not be a rule book, but there is a guidebook. The difference is that guidebooks just describe the way things are and help you get around. They need to be updated as things change. -- Samuel Wantman 09:08, 14 January 2007 (UTC)
- True, of course. The point of this page is that I've on several occasions seen a user who insists that something must be done according to a certain procedure, only on closer examination it turns out that such a procedure doesn't actually exist but the user either made it up or assumed it would exist, and that user still insists that we follow the non-existent procedure. >Radiant< 10:58, 15 January 2007 (UTC)
