Whoomp! (There It Is), also known as Whoomp! (There It Is): The Album, is the debut album by rap duo, Tag Team. The album was released on July 20, 1993 for Life Records and was produced by Steve Roll'n and DC the Brain Supreme. The album was a huge success thanks in large part to the single, "Whoomp! (There It Is)", which made it to #2 on the Billboard Hot 100 and # 4 on the Hot Rap Singles. The album itself made it to #39 on the Billboard 200 and #28 on the Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart and was certified Platinum by the RIAA. "Whoomp! (There It Is)" and "U Go Girl" were the two charting singles.
