[edit] EITF

I wasn't saying it was unneeded, it just needs cleanup because it doesn't make any sense. --Liface 21:34, 22 November 2006 (UTC) Okay. I appologize, I will clean it up. Thanks

[edit] Thanks for creating

two pages for the same person with the same information in both. And thanks for putting it in the appropriate categories. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 172.133.221.27 (talk) 21:04, 16 December 2006 (UTC).

Er, I had to go to the article to see what you were talking about in your message to me. My contribution to the page was limited to correcting a spelling error. I didn't have anything to do with the content of the article itself. Dipics 21:51, 9 January 2007 (UTC)

[edit] CIA EU arrest warrants

I have added a "{{prod}}" template to the article CIA EU arrest warrants, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but I don't believe it satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and I've explained why in the deletion notice (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). Please either work to improve the article if the topic is worthy of inclusion in Wikipedia, or, if you disagree with the notice, discuss the issues at its talk page. Removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, but the article may still be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached, or if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria. [edit] Speedy deletion of Armando Spataro

A tag has been placed on Armando Spataro, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done for the following reason:

Non-notable Italian civil servant. This article contains nothing about him, other than the fact that he's trying this one case.

Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not meet very basic Wikipedia criteria may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as an appropriate article, and if you can indicate why the subject of this article is appropriate, you may contest the tagging. To do this, add {{hangon}} on the top of the page and leave a note on the article's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm its subject's notability under the guidelines.

For guidelines on specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for bands, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Ford MF 01:06, 18 February 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Age category

Hello! If you are receiving this message, that means that your user page is in a specific year category. Per a recent user-category per deletion, all specific year categories are to be deleted. If you wish to continue using year categories, you have two options:

  • Using an age group category, such as Category:Wikipedians in their 30s
  • Using a decade category, such as Category:Wikipedians born in the 1970s.

If you wish, you may do both. Hopefully, this change in categorization will be quick and painless. Happy editing! --An automated message from MessedRobot 12:29, 9 March 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Speedy deletion of John Q Porter

A tag has been placed on John Q Porter requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not indicate the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for biographies.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the article's talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines.
