[edit] Proposed deletion of D-chess
A proposed deletion template has been added to the article D-chess, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice should explain why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}}
notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page.
Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised because even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. Do you want to opt out of receiving this notice? NawlinWiki (talk) 14:43, 11 May 2008 (UTC)
I deleted that template as the rules said it was okay to do so, especially if I made some improvements. I cleaned up the page and added information about the rules. There is a Yahoo Group that discusses this chess variant and there is support for this type of chess variant. I too have noticed that other chess variants have their own articles and pages, even if they are not very popular (not saying that this one is not, but certainly there are many chess variants and not all are popular or even played much). This is a practical chess variant that is not being different for the sake of being different, but attempts to solve some of the many problems with chess as we know it. I hope I proceeded correctly and thank you for the opportunity to create this page and explain more information and to clean up the page. Theravada1 (talk) 04:04, 12 May 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Accounts
FYI, I'm leaving a comment on your other account Vibhajjavada (talk ยท contribs) which you've switched to as your main account, instead of here, since you no longer seem to be using this one (though there is a slight overlap in contribs). - Owlmonkey (talk) 23:05, 20 May 2008 (UTC)
