[edit] 2007-08 Tour de Ski

Hello,

are you sure about the results of the Tour de Ski race in Nové Město na Moravě on 29 December, which you have added into the Wikipedia article? I have read completely different results (with Lukáš Bauer as the winner). Unfortunately, in my source there were not enough details necessary to fill in the Wikipedia table so I would like to ask you to check it. Thanks. Jan.Kamenicek (talk) 09:37, 30 December 2007 (UTC)

Thanks for clarification. Jan.Kamenicek (talk) 16:54, 30 December 2007 (UTC)
One more request: Could you please add some references to the results? It would be very helpful. Thanks very much again. Jan.Kamenicek (talk) 22:21, 30 December 2007 (UTC)
Done =) lil2mas (talk)

Their flags are so alike, my mistake... lil2mas (talk)

[edit] Club logos

Hi there. You probably don't know this, but as club logos are subject to copyright laws, they can only be used on Wikipedia when their usage is deemed to be Fair Use. Their use on tournament season articles, such as the ones you have been adding the logos to, does not usually constitute Fair Use. It would be really helpful if you would go through your recent edits and remove the logos. Cheers. – PeeJay 23:06, 10 April 2008 (UTC)

Okay, I did not know that, thanks for cleaning up my mess =) lil2mas (talk) 16:09, 12 April 2008 (UTC)

[edit] 2008 Stanley Cup Playoffs

Hello Theilert! Thank you very much for your help in editing the details on the 2008 Stanley Cup Playoffs page. I would like to invite you to look at the discussion page for that page, as we are currently considering an alternate series summary table. You can find that specific discussion here Once you are there, you can look over the discussion and click on the box titled "To leave your comments about your preference regarding the series summary tables" to leave your comments. Your thoughts regarding this matter are greatly appreciated. Thanks! --Sukh17 TCE 22:10, 13 April 2008 (UTC)

Comment posted! lil2mas (talk)
You might want to check on the concensus to change tables before just changing them. Especially since there are discussions to change the tables to a different format all together. You also only changed some of the series and not all of them. -Djsasso (talk) 22:34, 14 April 2008 (UTC)
I've posted my comment on the talk page, but there hasn't been any inputs from someone else. They are all only temporary tables until a consesus has been reached anyway. And the reason why I've just changed a few of them, was so it should be easier to remove them if they were disapproved. lil2mas (talk) 22:53, 14 April 2008 (UTC)
Sorry your signature name doesn't match your username so I didn't realize that was you. That being said currently the concensus is to use what was there already as that is what is used on all the prior seasons. His option is a new option for the page. As would be your option. -Djsasso (talk) 22:55, 14 April 2008 (UTC)
I know, but Sukh17 has implemented his layout, so no more problems =) lil2mas (talk) 00:04, 18 April 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Thanks

[1] Man, I couldn't find out what I did wrong through that lol. Much obliged. :) Jmlk17 23:29, 16 April 2008 (UTC)

You're welcome! =) lil2mas (talk) 00:02, 18 April 2008 (UTC)

[edit] why

Why did you change the layout of the 2008 nhl playoff page? It was much better the old way. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.184.206.83 (talk) 23:31, 17 April 2008 (UTC)

If you're talkin' about the current layout, you'll have to talk Sukh17 (talk), it's his layout, mine was only temporary. Take a look at Talk:2008 Stanley Cup Playoffs, and bring your comments there. lil2mas (talk) 00:01, 18 April 2008 (UTC)

[edit] flags

You accidentally added the country flags back on the NHL playoffs page. They were removed as per the Wikipedia Manual of Style. Please see the discussion in the talk page of the NHL playoffs page, and remove the flags that you re-added. Thanks!

If you disagree with the Manual of Style itself, then maybe you should participate on the discussion in the talk page of the manual of style, but for now, we must follow it!

--Sonjaaa (talk) 06:53, 27 April 2008 (UTC)

You're right, it was accidental, but I would do it again, because it seems like you've misunderstood the paragraph. The paragraph [2] you're referring to was added by User:Gnevin about two weeks ago, and was only added after a suggestion on the talk page, which hadn't been discussed and therefore haven't reached consensus.
Anyway; The reason why he is suggesting flags on "Formula 1 drivers" as incorrect use, is because there aren't any National team for Formula 1 drivers. But he is suggesting that flags on "Football players" should be allowed, since they can be a part of a National team."Hockey players" can also be a part of a National team, and can therefore, according to Gnevin, have a flag next to them. lil2mas (talk) 00:14, 29 April 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Diacritics in 2008 Stanley Cup Playoffs

Just a quick note. For ice hockey articles, it has been agreed upon through WP:HOCKEY that we are to avoid the use of diacritics. I'm just mentioing this as I notice you put them back into the statistical leaders section of the 2008 Stanley Cup Playoffs article here after they had previously been removed. Thanks! – Nurmsook! (talk) 17:39, 30 April 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Thanks

All that work on the penalty shoutout box and you come in and have it done in 30 seconds. Thanks... —Preceding unsigned comment added by 82.156.100.120 (talk) 18:18, 13 May 2008 (UTC)
