WP:AN notice about accounts-enwiki-l
Umm, are you sure about that?? from my reading of your notice, you seem to be implying that unblock-en-l has been superceded. I haven't been following all the discussion on accounts-enwiki-l (in fact I just unsubscribed), but as far as I know, that was never intended to take traffic away from unblock-en-l. I have to go now, so I'll leave you to it, but if you aren't quite sure about that, you might just remove the notice on AN. If you are sure and I just msised something.... well, nevermind. --barneca (talk) 21:06, 2 March 2008 (UTC)
- Removed notice that is confusing. --The Helpful One (Review) 21:13, 2 March 2008 (UTC)
- Hi THO. OK, thanks, I thought that might have been a bit of an over-reach. FYI, I unsubscribed from the list because I won't have much time to deal with requests for a while, the mailing list email was filling my inbox, and it seems there are numerous admins to help with the workload. If it ever seems to you like more admin attention to the list is needed, drop me an email and I'll re-subscribe. --barneca (talk) 21:41, 2 March 2008 (UTC)
help with image removal
I posted a help message because I was practicing with adding images in what I thought was the sandbox, but apparently not as it seems to be out there on Wikipedia somewhere. I tried to get rid of it and inadvertently may have deleted indications that this was my photo and a such is not a copyright issue. I received a stern warning to validate the ownership or whatever. I only want to delete the image from Wikipedia! Cannot figure out how to do this - I am quite inexperienced obviously and do not yet understand all the lingo and procedures. Any help you can provide? Do Not Understand This MSG
[edit] December 2007
This is the only warning you will receive for your disruptive edits.
The next time you delete or blank page contents or templates from Wikipedia, as you did to User:K2wh, you will be blocked from editing. Other people's user pages. Happy New Year! The Helpful One (Talk) (Contributions) 13:33, 31 December 2007 (UTC)
If this is a shared IP address, and you didn't make any unconstructive edits, consider creating an account for yourself so you can avoid further irrelevant warnings.
Why did I receive this msg?
Thanks, Bill K2WH

Katara
Hi,
I am trying to make a change to Katara's page. It is accurate and details her story on the show "Avatar, the last Airbender." The changes I made were tagged as vandalism; why is this? Can you be of assistance, thanks,

My RfB
I wanted to personally thank you, TH1, for your support in my recent RfB. I am thankful and appreciative that you feel that I am worthy of the trust the community requires of its bureaucrats, and I hope to continue to behave in a way that maintains your trust in me and my actions. I have heard the community's voice that they require more of a presence at RfA's of prospective bureaucrats, and I will do my best over the near future to demonstrate such a presence and allow the community to see my philosophy and practices in action. I hope I can continue to count on your support when I decide to once again undergo an RfB. If you have any suggestions, comments, or constructive criticisms, please let me know via talkpage or e-mail. Thank you again. -- Avi (talk) 16:23, 7 March 2008 (UTC)

Image copyright problem with Image:Miessence Product Range.jpg
Thank you for uploading Image:Miessence Product Range.jpg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the image. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.
If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. NOTE: once you correct this, please remove the tag from the image's page. STBotI (talk) 16:18, 9 March 2008 (UTC)

Usernames
It's fine - it's very subjective, and believe me, I used to have reports to WP:UAA refused. If I may, let me offer you a piece of advice. Bear in mind that the whole point of WP:UAA is for usernames which require immediate admin intervention. Really really really confusing usernames would count (but QWERTYcucumber, which isn't really random or confusing, wouldn't). In a number of instances, these things can be resolved by taking them up with the user concerned, particularly where they've made no edits, or their edits have been good-faith. Thanks! Rapidshare
Why were both attempts to edit the Rapidshare wikipedia page reverted for so-called vandalism? The thing we edited out is blatantly wrong, ISP's are not always providing bandwith if the site is not blocked, but only to users who happen to be using the site. ISP's mainly block this site to avoid legal issues dealing with piracy. They do not block it because they are somehow always providing bandwith to the site 24/7. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Farseerfool (talk • contribs)

Hi Thehelpfulone! Please check this page. The "FIFA player of the century" is full of lies and passioned not neutral positions. So to prove whow is the fifa player of the century check the follow official sites. http://www.iffhs.de/?42d03e32a16f43809fa3c17c13c09e20a15ff3c09f32b17f7370eff3702bb1c2bbb6e28fc380de43110f83d00e09
Wikipedia is the only on line encyclopedia that supports that Maradona is the winner of that award. He received a "internet version of the award". That is the FIFA version. Pele received the real stuff. Now people can said anything they want even that Elvis is not dead. But that page is fake. Keeping false information brings bad reputation to Wikipedia. Im done with this editing fight. Wiki loses maradona fans won. Bye. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.98.100.243 (talk • contribs)

- Surely, if what you're saying passes WP:V, it'll have multiple reliable sources saying so (news reports, etc). We go by what's verifiable. That's how it works here. SQLQuery me! 19:39, 18 March 2008 (UTC)

I recently put a fake New Message box on my page and just yesterday a user named DiligentTerrier removed it from my page without telling me and leaving the edit summary as "removed fake new message box as per wikipedia policy" I was wondering if this is really against wiki policy Smart Guy (talk) (Sign) 14:04, 19 March 2008 (UTC)

you just messaged me about 'disruptive edits', i'm new to actually editing (I normally just read)

Mediation Cabal Case - Wrongly closed
Hi, you closed the case Wikipedia:Mediation Cabal/Cases/2008-03-19 National Federation of Republican Assemblies and wondered why. There is a discussion that is getting rancorous going on about edits which needs assistance to sort out. Although the original requester mentioned vandalism we have to assume that the IP editor 63.3.5.2 is acting in good faith. Can I ask you to reopen the case as I don't know how to do that. --Deadly∀ssassin(talk) 06:25, 20 March 2008 (UTC)
- Cool - thanks for that --Deadly∀ssassin(talk) 11:27, 20 March 2008 (UTC)

Please help me
Following your edits to the Death Proof article today, I am continuing to butt heads --majorly-- with the editor known as Tool2Die4. He is playing bully-boy, and borderline threatening me, and using my obvious unfamiliarity with Wiki against me, despite the several improprieties on his part that I have pointed out.
I don't know what to do or how to resolve the matter (petty as it is). Any suggestions?
I forgot to sign. Sorry. Jcarter2000@yahoo.com (talk) 21:52, 24 March 2008 (UTC) 3/24/08

Edits to Derby County history
I fail to see how my changes to the clubs history are unconstructive. The section previously read along the lines of 'and then they signed Earnshaw, and then they signed Davies, and then they...' as people have updated it without trying to structure the sentences properly. I updated it to make it a paragrpah rather than a group of sentences cobbled together. AnOrdinaryBoy (talk) 15:34, 25 March 2008 (UTC)
No problems mate, hope I didn't sound snappy in my original message I didn't mean to be just thought it was a confusing revert ;-) AnOrdinaryBoy (talk) 15:40, 25 March 2008 (UTC)
Snowolf user page
FYI, re this: you don't want to remove "px" everywhere. Only remove it from templates where it's causing a repeat, i.e., height=200px but then the template uses {{{height}}}px, so you get an image whose height is set to "200pxpx". See bug 13500 . The correct fix for that page is just this. —Simetrical (talk • contribs) 17:32, 25 March 2008 (UTC)

Irrefutable proof
I do not think it's vandalism. I guess I just need to Wikify it or something. Irrefutable proof must be spread. --68.218.148.230 (talk) 13:43, 26 March 2008 (UTC)
Your AWB edits
Hey. Please do not use AWB to convert articles' interwiki sorting order the way you did here, here and apparently in hundreds of more edits. Your edits have made the sorting order inconsistent with the very large majority of our articles (see Wikipedia:IL#Sorting). Your edit summaries, "Typo fixing", are also inaccurate. Please review your reversion of my edits
You recently reverted my edits to http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lolicon,
1. If you will review my edits you will see that the reference DOES NOT go to the supreme court decision but is in fact a link to the respondants brief to the court, I do not see how correcting this error is unconstructive
2. I have been unable to find the decision in the case, I do not believe it has been released see: http://www.scotuswiki.com/index.php?title=US_v._Williams#Opinion_Analysis If you have any evidence to the contrary, other than the mislabeled link, please correct the article to reflect that, barring that, I do not see how removing what appears to be a misleading claim is unconstructive. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.164.88.131 (talk) 22:21, 27 March 2008 (UTC)
Thanks for helping me
I guess you are living up to your user name. I appreciate it and i can understand why vandals would not like you. I hate them so much that it pains me that users like you and so many others have to be cleaning up vandalism everyday instead of making wikipedia better if you know what i mean like editing articles making them better etc. I know you can protect pages, block IP addresses but even this will not stop the vandals. Its sad they're always going to be there. Its sort of like grafitti in the public, you can clean it up but tomorrow it'll probably be back up there. What can you do? I dont know but that i guess is one of the downsides to having wikipedia 'anyone can edit' Thanks again and all the best, i thought that the 'best' wikipedians would be the ones who have made the most edits, i try and ask them qs but you are the one for me. Roadrunnerz45 (talk) 12:46, 28 March 2008 (UTC)
