[edit] AfD nomination of Jon Courtney
An editor has nominated Jon Courtney, an article on which you have worked or that you created, for deletion. We appreciate your contributions, but the nominator doesn't believe that the article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion and has explained why in his/her nomination (see also "What Wikipedia is not").
Your opinions on whether the article meets inclusion criteria and what should be done with the article are welcome; please participate in the discussion by adding your comments at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Jon Courtney and please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~).
You may also edit the article during the discussion to improve it but should not remove the articles for deletion template from the top of the article; such removal will not end the deletion debate. Thank you. BJBot (talk) 14:59, 6 March 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Your question
Hello Darkfourth - in answer to your question, I can only say that there's no reason that that should happen, unless the page you're trying to edit is semi-protected. Which page is it? Sarcasticidealist (talk) 16:56, 1 April 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Pure Reason Revolution
Sorry for labeling it as vandalism, its one of the default twinkle settings and i hit it without thinking. I removed it because it's unreferenced, unverified and unlikely; i've checked various sites and search engines, neither PRR (who i am an enormous fan of) or NEARfest itself has any info on such a release, all the bands who DID release albums from NEARfest did it ages ago and i doubt they'd release a live album at the same time as the TDT followup (it'd muddy the waters). Thanks for the comment; i take it from the username you're a large fan as well, so i'd be interested to see if you have any info/comments to add. thanks! Ironholds (talk) 17:28, 20 May 2008 (UTC)
[edit] PRR
I'd just like to say thanks for your edits of PRR-related articles, clearing my spelling mistakes and such up :) Ironholds 15:01, 30 May 2008 (UTC)
- haha, no problem. I've posted a reply to your comment on the Jon Courtney talk page as well (i thought it'd be a bit silly to repeat it here in case you've already seen it when you get this). I can tell from the username you're a particularly big fan; going to the Barfly gig? Ironholds 19:36, 31 May 2008 (UTC)
- Yeah, the unofficial-but-not-quite-unnofficial forum. Nothing to do with the band whatsoever, except various band members/managerial people sometimes post there. SO independent :P. Were you at the water rat? the sound was awful and i dont know if that's because the mixing bloke has cloth ears (my band had problems when we were there) or if it's a general problem. Are they normally good live? could just've been the combination of no lights/decent sound/room to move. Ironholds 20:15, 31 May 2008 (UTC)
- Where were you? i was literally right at the front in front of jon; i was lucky enough to nick his setlist. Ironholds 13:17, 1 June 2008 (UTC)
- Ahh, it was your lot throwing the signs on stage! i wondered what they said. Were you one of the group who seemed to know jamie? Ironholds 19:29, 1 June 2008 (UTC)
- Oh ok, that makes sense :). Yeah, bullits would've been nice. The original intention craft would've been good; i'm a bit pissed that a couple of songs (golden clothes/in aurelia) i didnt know at the time and couldnt appreciate :(. Ironholds 19:36, 1 June 2008 (UTC)
- Fantastic :D. I loved the little pink floyd reference (saying "welcome to the machine" before the song. I really need to pick up that bootleg recording, it'll have Gloaming (the new song). Ironholds 13:50, 2 June 2008 (UTC)
