[edit] Cheese cheese cheese
So, I'm thinking human cheese should be merged somewhere — do you think cheese is the best target, or...? --SB | T 10:22, 16 August 2006 (UTC)
- hmm.. it's a neato topic, but I'm starting to have doubts on how Wiki-worthy it is... hmmmmm --The Prophet Wizard of the Crayon Cake 19:59, 16 August 2006 (UTC)

Thanks for the message from the cabal, hope to be doing some work! Viva La Vie Boheme!
[edit] 100th IAR support
You were waiting to do that, weren't you?
Cool beans! Kim Bruning 22:29, 17 August 2006 (UTC)
- Nah wasn't waiting.. I wasn't aware they had support sections for stuff like that.. I was just scanning over the IAR talk page and noticed the support section. Pure coincidence that I got 100. --The Prophet Wizard of the Crayon Cake 20:00, 18 August 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Mediation case
Where did it go? We can restart the mediation on the King George's Fields stuff any time you like, but... Where is it? Fiddle Faddle 12:44, 19 August 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Your MedCab case: 2006-06-13 Conservatism
Wikipedia:Mediation Cabal/Cases/2006-06-13 Conservatism hasn't had any action in a month and a half now. Are the parties still aware there's an ongoing case? :) ~Kylu (u|t) 16:52, 1 October 2006 (UTC)
- shrug* No clue. Unless they have something they actively care about, I feel comfortable just sitting idle and doing nothing. They might even forget about it after a few more months. :P -The Prophet Wizard of the Crayon Cake 19:53, 1 October 2006 (UTC)
- Guess that gives you more time for other cases then. Oh, and writing! I still haven't come up with a name for the latest story of yours, sorry. I just can't find a common thread to put a name to :( ~Kylu (u|t) 16:59, 2 October 2006 (UTC)
- There's not much of a common thread yet. : / --The Prophet Wizard of the Crayon Cake 19:51, 2 October 2006 (UTC)

*gasps whilst he walks up to the stage* For me? Why... why this is so unexpected! *pulls out a wad of paper from jacket pocket*.
For many years the earth has been blazen with the signs of oblivion, and the cross tangled from vines and thorns and jungles. There are greater and darker things than man, who so contentedly locks his treasures within vaults of secrets and steel and iron and magic. For what man will fight when there is one more powerful than he? a blind man. And so, with the mantra of our kingdom humanity, our beloved kingdom humanity, whose towers are so bright and ivory, we march to our deaths. It is better to die a warrior than a coward!
Thank you all! *folds his "unexpected" speech back into his pocket, and walks back to his seat*

[edit] MedCab Chaos
Greetings - your title for MedCab attracted my attention for the following question, which I hope in asking will not earn me permanent newbie status here... And that is - if things are worked out among the participants, how can a MedCab (and a mediation case, for that matter) be delisted. Or magically disappear, perhaps? Specifically, Dubc0724 has come up with solutions for
and
and they thus do not require the attention of...well, anyone really. Except, perhaps you, whom I have asked for help... Thanks much - DukeEGR93 02:31, 25 October 2006 (UTC)
- Sorry for taking so long to reply... but basically if you want to delist the case just change the "status" listing on the info template thingy from "open" to "closed". We have a super-bot program that automatically removes it from the list and archives it and stuff. --The Prophet Wizard of the Crayon Cake 01:37, 1 November 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Dear Arbitration Committee Candidate!
Hiya Cake! I just figured I'd tell ya that Mailer Diablo has posted a few questions for you on the Questions for the Candidate page for you. I humbly suggest either watchlisting the page or, potentially, just visiting it every few hours until the elections are over.
I wish you the best of luck! ~Kylu (u|t) 06:43, 6 November 2006 (UTC)
- Hmmm... thanks a lot for the note. I probably wouldn't have noticed the question if you hadn't told me about it. --The Prophet Wizard of the Crayon Cake 21:04, 6 November 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Eep
No, I seem to recall that you indicated to me on IRC that I ought to revert the redirect. However, it was some time ago, and I don't really remember the details on the situation. I considered getting into a brutal revert war with you about this, but I have deigned not to.—Nat Krause(Talk!) 22:45, 6 November 2006 (UTC)

[edit] ArbCom questions
Hi. I'm Ral315, editor of the Wikipedia Signpost. We're doing a series on ArbCom candidates, and your response is requested.
- What positions do you hold (adminship, mediation, etc.)?
- Why are you running for the Arbitration Committee?
- Have you been involved in any arbitration cases? In what capacity?
Please respond on my talk page. We'll probably go to press late Monday or early Tuesday (UTC), but late responses will be added as they're submitted. Thanks, Ral315 (talk) 02:00, 27 November 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Portfolio for ArbCom
On Wikipedia:Arbitration Committee Elections December 2006/Summary table, I added a column "Examples" with links that exhibit a candidate's arbitration skills. My motivation is that as a voter, I don't want to just rely on a candidate's words, but also see their actions. Moreover, I believe a portfolio of "model cases" to remember in difficult situations can be useful for each candidate, as well.
So far I have entered examples for the candidates who registered first (from their questions page), and I'm not sure if and when I will get to yours, so you may want to enter an example or two yourself. — Sebastian (talk) 23:55, 3 December 2006 (UTC)
- Thanks for your reply on my talk page. I started reading the list you provide in your statement, but it took me some time to realize that the bulk of the discussions took place in other locations. Maybe it would be better to include some of the links where the discussion actually took place. Anyhow, I read Talk:Macedonism, and I like your unattached style from which many here, including myself, could learn. You really managed to diffuse the gravity in these situations. — Sebastian (talk) 09:11, 7 December 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Your signature
Just wondering, why does your signature link to a user "Cake Prophet", which is actually a redirect to your real userpage? If this is intentional, can you explain the reasoning? If it isn't, can you please fix it? Thanks. --Cyde Weys 00:18, 4 December 2006 (UTC)
- It shortens the length of my signature. --The Prophet Wizard of the Crayon Cake 03:04, 4 December 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Human cheese
Hi,
I nominated Human cheese for AfD. I think it's a topic without any reliable sources, really. —Bunchofgrapes (talk) 17:46, 14 January 2007 (UTC)
- The article Human cheese is now better sourced, with information from a newspaper column by Dan Savage. --Eastmain 18:27, 14 January 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Could you help with some research?
Greetings ProphetCake,
I'm currently in the middle of a PhD at the University of Bath, UK. I'm examining the way that mediation differs between face-to-face, video-conferenced and text-based meetings. You can get a gist of the research from my (somewhat sparse) homepage here.
I've been trawling through the MediationCabal archives and have noticed that you've mediated in number of cases. Would you be willing to spare some time to talk to me about your experiences mediating? It'd help me out no end!
If you'd like some more info, you can leave a message on my talkpage or contact me via the e-mail on my homepage.
Many thanks
Matt
Love the pages BTW!
