[edit] Fair use rationale for Image:Kashyyykplanet.jpeg

Thanks for uploading or contributing to Image:Kashyyykplanet.jpeg. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia constitutes fair use. Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale.

If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Ricky81682 (talk) 02:45, 14 February 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Skull talk page

Sorry about that, but if you're reacting to that... I do agree, yes, some editors seem unable to read at times. Alientraveller (talk) 19:30, 14 February 2008 (UTC)

[edit] rollback

I have granted rollback rights to your account, because after a review of some of your contributions it appears that we can trust you to use rollback correctly by using it for its intended use of reverting vandalism: and believe you will not abuse it by reverting good-faith edits or to revert-war. For information on rollback, see Rollback feature and Rollback school. If you do not want rollback, just let me know, and I'll remove it. Cheers, NoSeptember 19:56, 17 February 2008 (UTC)

[edit] AfD nomination of Firefly (soundtrack)

I have nominated Firefly (soundtrack), an article you created, for deletion. I do not feel that this article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and have explained why at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Firefly (soundtrack). Your opinions on the matter are welcome at that same discussion page; also, you are welcome to edit the article to address these concerns. Thank you for your time. [edit] Disputed fair use rationale for Image:Malla-HS.JPG

Thank you for uploading Image:Malla-HS.JPG. However, there is a concern that the rationale provided for using this image under "fair use" may not meet the criteria required by Wikipedia:Non-free content. This can be corrected by going to the image description page and add or clarify the reason why the image qualifies for fair use. Adding and completing one of the templates available from Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy. Please be aware that a fair use rationale is not the same as an image copyright tag; descriptions for images used under the fair use policy require both a copyright tag and a fair use rationale.

If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it might be deleted by adminstrator within a few days in accordance with our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions, please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot (talk) 14:55, 8 March 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Improving Star Wars to Featured Article status

I am currently working on improving Star Wars to Featured Article status, and I noticed that you have made a substantial amount of contributions recently. If you have time, I would appreciate it if you could help out and improve the article. Right now, the primary thing that needs to be done is the addition of more references - the article simply is not referenced enough. I have added {{fact}} tags on the page, which shows up as [citation needed] to make it easier to find what information needs references. Thanks for your time! [edit] Orphaned non-free media (Image:Charal1.jpg)

Thanks for uploading Image:Charal1.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BJBot (talk) 12:26, 8 April 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Help with Indiana Jones

I'm writing up an article for minor Indy characters here, could you write up the section on his mum and maybe other major characters in the TV show? I reckon it would be unencyclopedic to cite the feature length re-edits of the show, because I understand important information was left out when they cut the old Indiana scenes. Alientraveller (talk) 15:37, 13 April 2008 (UTC)

And I learn something new each day! Could you fix the cite (no. 42) though? Alientraveller (talk) 19:15, 13 April 2008 (UTC)

You'll be pleased to hear IGN did some character analysis of the TV show, which I implemented into the character's article: disillusionment in WW1 making him go from "it belongs in a museum" to "fortune and glory". Alientraveller (talk) 15:58, 22 May 2008 (UTC)

[edit] MTV may have gotten there first, but darn it if you aren't getting some more belated medals!

[edit] The article on Soldier (film)

An IP editor has removed some material you placed, two years ago, in the article, Soldier (film), based on lack of source. I did some searching and, of course, found your Wookieepedia page mentioning the removal of the Tannhauser Gate battle scene from the film. I've been unable to find reliable source for this, anything more than blog mentions or the like. If the scene was in the script, and if the original script is available somewhere, this may suffice. Anyway, I thought you might like to look at Soldier (film) and at Talk:Soldier (film). At this point, I'd be pushing WP:3RR to keep the material in.

The scene at the end of Blade Runner where the Tannhauser Gate is mentioned is one of my favorite movies scenes of all time. And I'm over three times your age.... --Abd (talk) 23:06, 3 June 2008 (UTC)
