[edit] Black Francis/Frank Black
FYI note that changing the link doesn't change much; it still leads to the same page. CloudNine 13:14, 25 June 2007 (UTC)
- Yeah, but without a redirect. Isn't that worth something? I just hate redirects. --The Wild Falcon 13:33, 25 June 2007 (UTC)
- Fair enough. Frank Black is a special case however; he may change his name to Black Francis (or he already has done, it's not clear) for the release of his album Bluefinger. CloudNine 13:36, 25 June 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Supersize Me
http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Super_Size_Me
Your addition of "Citation Needed" is not necessary on this page. The sentence "Morgan said that he was eating in thirty days the amount of fast food most nutritionists suggest someone should eat in eight years." Whether this is fact or not is regardless. The article did not state this as a fact; It merely stated this is what Morgan said. And he did actually say it, it's in the movie.
If one were to get this analytical about citing sources then it would only be proper to add "Citation Needed" after virtually every sentence in every article.
Normally I wouldn't care about such a small edit but there are too many people doing this exact same thing to articles when it's not necessary. Meinsla 03:47, 2 September 2007 (UTC)
- The entire article consists of quotes and mentions occurances from the movie, I wonder why this section in particular warranted a citation.Meinsla 22:20, 3 September 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Cleanup TS
Can you explain what you want cleaned up at the TS dismabiguation page? It's alphabetical, they're all legit, and I'm not sure what more I can do. SandyGeorgia (Talk) 20:29, 3 September 2007 (UTC)
- Thanks for the tips; I keep up with TS and TSA because of Tourette syndrome and it's not going to be fun trying to figure out what all the other articles on those dabs refer to or how to best describe them, but I'll work on them both when I return from travel in a few weeks. SandyGeorgia (Talk) 18:55, 4 September 2007 (UTC)
OK, can you have a look at TS and TSA now? Gosh, there's one of everything in TS; I used more or less the scheme at WP:FA to organize them, as it resulted in the most common search terms in the first two groups. SandyGeorgia (Talk) 22:13, 4 September 2007 (UTC)
[edit] conversion of "step" template to "See Also:"
Can you point me toward the discussion that concluded the step function should be phased out?
IMHO: It is useful to know successors.
- eg John F. Kennedy Preceded by: Dwight D. Eisenhower Succeeded by: Lyndon B. Johnson
Is better then:
- eg John F. Kennedy See also: Dwight D. Eisenhower and Lyndon B. Johnson
If this information is already in the header of the article, then maybe the step should be removed. But if it isn't then removing "step" is actually a step backward.

I just reverted some of the template removals in the IBM PC series. Can I continue, or could you do the reversions for me?

[edit] DokuWiki
I added the sentence "DokuWiki is one of the most popular wiki engines in use" - because from the google trend bar it is top3 and even more popular than moinmoin and pmwiki. If you find other wiki engines which are more popular than Dokuwiki you can remove this sentence again. I couldn't find. I added also some references and removed the reference remark - please check. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Skyrun (talk • contribs) 14:07, 6 November 2007
