[edit] spam

I reckon they were spam: Sayklly's Confectionary and Gifts, Sayklly's confectionary and gifts and Sayklly's. And we don not - multiply post articles -- RHaworth 19:09, 3 December 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Camp Batawagama

I noticed you had contested the suggested speedy deletion of this article. I don't agree that it read like blatant spam; you created this article in good faith; however, the camp does not appear to meet our notability criteria for inclusion here. If you can find any reliable sources that mention the camp in a non-trivial way and support the camp's notability, please add them to the article. Thanks. [edit] well..

I suppose that Camp Batawagama isn't all that noteworthy, but I figured I would make the page, in case anyone searched for it. The only other website I found that contained a bunch of information about it was http://www.iron.org/chamber/youthcamps.php and I suppose that was still sort of small. while I was at the camp there there were people that had come all the way from lower michigan so I thought that it was somewhat big, at least in Michigan. I still don't think the article should be deleted, but there's not really much I can do about it if you decide to delete it. The Umbrella Corporation 06:19, 7 January 2007 (UTC)

OK, thanks. That link seems to be a directory of local events and activities, correct? So it doesn't really qualify as a reliable source providing independent coverage of the subject. It seems to me that the camp is really too small to merit an article here, but I've started a discussion about it here (edit conflict: guess you already got a notice about this), where other users can read the article and evaluate whether they think it is notable enough. If it does get deleted, don't let that discourage you from contributing to Wikipedia in other ways! Opabinia regalis 01:41, 8 January 2007 (UTC)

[edit] AfD Nomination: Camp Batawagama

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia! We welcome and appreciate your contributions, but all Wikipedia articles must meet our criteria for inclusion (see What Wikipedia is not and Deletion policy). Since it does not seem to me that Camp Batawagama meets these criteria, I have started a discussion about whether this article should be kept or deleted.

Your opinion on whether this article meets the inclusion criteria is welcome. Please contribute to the discussion by adding your comments at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Camp Batawagama. Don't forget to add four tildes (~~~~) at the end of each of your comments to sign them.

Discussions such as these usually last five days. In the meantime, you are free to edit the content of the article. Please do not remove the "articles for deletion" template (the box at the top). When the discussion has concluded, an administrator will consider all comments and decide whether or not to delete the article. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Bigtop (talkcontribs) 01:38, 8 January 2007 (UTC).
