Non-free use disputed for Image:Lcf-rothschild logo.jpg
This file may be deleted. |
Thanks for uploading Image:Lcf-rothschild logo.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale you have provided for using this image under "fair use" may be invalid. Please read carefully the instructions at Wikipedia:Non-free content and then go to the image description page and clarify why you think the image qualifies. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. My RfA ...
Hi. Thanks for supporting my request for adminship. It was successful and I am now an admin. If I can ever be of help, please let me know. Cheers, Black Falcon (Talk) 06:14, 6 June 2007 (UTC)
My RFA
Thanks for the co-nom and support but due to a variety of factors i decided to withdraw, as well as the fact the RFA was going to be no-consensus. Thank you anyway. I was starting to be a bit uncertain and wondered whether i was experienced enough, but those were not the only reasons. Simply south 18:47, 7 June 2007 (UTC)
Re: Signature and stuff
That signature's fine. And where you talked to me before is a secret. Seriously. --Deskana (talk) 02:14, 8 June 2007 (UTC)
- It's not important, I assure you. I wanted to make it clear that I do approve of your contributions, and that I wasn't just saying that. I shouldn't have mentioned it. Try not to let it bother you. Sorry. --Deskana (talk) 02:22, 8 June 2007 (UTC)
Rfa
Just dropping by to say "thank you" for supporting me in my recent my RfA. I passed the vote, and am now an admin. It will take me some getting used to with the new tools, but I thank you again for the trust. Have a good one, and, as always, happy editing! Jmlk17 04:58, 8 June 2007 (UTC)
My RfA
Dear The Random Editor, thanks for your support in my recent RfA, it was, however, unsuccessful. I am not the type of editor to be disheartened by such a result, and have gained much experience. If you have anything to contribute by way of improvements or comments, please don’t hesitate to tell me.
I will run again. Until then, Cheers, Dfrg.msc 08:32, 8 June 2007 (UTC)
My RFA
Hello, The Random Editor/Archive 3, and thank you so much for your support in my recent RFA, which passed 59/0/0! I promise I won't erupt all over this nice Wikipedia, and I will try very hard to live up to your expectations. Please let me know if I can help you in any way, but first take your cookie! Thanks again! KrakatoaKatie 19:55, 8 June 2007 (UTC)

Adoption
Sorry it took so long to get back to you. *is embarrassed* I've been busy. Yes, I would like to be adopted over my first month or so here by you. It's mainly formatting that I struggle with and the whole magnitude of this place. Continue talking on your talk page. Escape Artist Swyer 20:42, 8 June 2007 (UTC)

Re. RFA
Of course I don't mind. :-) In fact, it's up to Magnus to accept more nominations, not to me. By the way, you've added your nom after he has accepted mine, so he should redo his acceptance (otherwise it's like signing a document and new clauses being added afterwards). Or, you may change yours to "co-nom after acceptance". Or, whatever he decides. :-) Best regards, Húsönd 02:40, 10 June 2007 (UTC)
Removing content
Actually, my edit didn't remove any content. There was an entire section in the article which just contained a link to another article; I moved the link to the see also section. Please look more carefully before commenting on other's edits in future. 87.80.6.3 11:01, 10 June 2007 (UTC) (This is actually User:Cadr, I forgot to log in before I made the edit.)
My RfA :)
Thank you, Random Editor, for commenting on my RfA, which closed successfully with a tally of 76/0/1! I hope I will meet your expectations, and be sure I will continue trying to be a good editor as well as a good administrator :) If I may be of any assistance to you in the future (or if you see me commit some grievous error :), please drop me a line on my Talk page.
Again, thank you, and happy editing! Fvasconcellos (t·c) 17:13, 10 June 2007 (UTC) |
Your Userpage
Hello. I think your userpage is very nice. It also looks good on both IE and Firefox. The only question I have is, why do you have a red link to a "policy page"? Other than that, it's really good. Please let me know if you wanted to know anything more specific. See you at the backlogs! Yours truly, Eddie 02:03, 11 June 2007 (UTC)

Hello/Gnome week
Hello to you as well, how have you been? Unfortunately, I will not be here during Gnome week, and I'll be away until early August. If I'm lucky, I might have time to check my watchlist. :) · AndonicO Talk 11:30, 11 June 2007 (UTC)

My signature
I saw your post at the help desk. I would like to change my signature to appear with the color, font, etc. of howcheng {chat}'s signature, but can't figure out how to modify my preferences to to it. Would you please provide me a string to paste into my signature preference box that would do this. Also, do I then check the Raw signature box? Thanks. -- Jreferee 17:21, 11 June 2007 (UTC)
- Actually, Black Falcon's signature above looks better. Would you mind providing code to give my sig such color and font. Thanks. -- Jreferee 17:23, 11 June 2007 (UTC)

Re. Admin coaching
Hello. Yes, I'm still willing to coach you. :-) Not tonight, as it's currently quite late where I live and I'm off to bed within the next half hour. But if you create a coach subpage, I'll drop by tomorrow. Best regards, Húsönd 02:28, 13 June 2007 (UTC)
I've Joined You
Hello. Looks like I've joined you at Húsönd's list of editors he might offer a nomination for adminship to. :-) Anyways, good luck on the admin coaching! Yours truly, Eddie 22:54, 13 June 2007 (UTC)
P.S. I really like your policy page, especially now that it's not a red link in your page header. :-)
- Hello. I've commented on your task force proposal. I think it's a very good idea. If it doesn't get approved, you should create a subpage with the contents I mentioned on the proposal, instead of having an entire task force (you should check out Snowolf's Admin scout group for an idea of what I'm talking about). You should ask Arnon Chaffin to comment on the proposal page. I think he should be interested. Happy editing! Yours truly, Eddie 01:52, 14 June 2007 (UTC)

A little message from your adoptee
I have reverted several cases of vandalism: here, here and here and also here. I've warned[1] about a page creation that was later speedily deleted and [2] about a vanity page called 13805. (Please let these links work!) Escape Artist Swyer | Talk to me 18:07, 14 June 2007 (UTC)

Hey
You asked for this one (just messing with ya, no offense meant) Kwsn(Ni!) 17:24, 22 June 2007 (UTC)
You should be more responsible
Before undoing someone's contribution to the page, make sure you know the material first. I am the one who deleted the "other weilders" category under Mjolinr. Speaking as a Thor and Marvel fan, to include characters from DC (superman and wonder woman) as those who weilded Mjolnir is highly OFFENSIVE and very INNACCURATE! It serves no purpose whatsoever other than to promote DC heroes at the expense of Marvel characters. It would not be as offensive if the DC heroes were placed under the "alternate reality" (or non-canon) other weilders. Can you honestly say that a comic crossover is CANON???? And to include Superman as Mjolnir's weilder is WRONG! There was no clarification regarding how he was able to weild it. Just to clarifym he should not be even considered because A) at the end of the crossover he could not lift it, even with great effort; B) for him to lift it is just a plot device used by Kurt Busiek to make Superman look cool, at the expense of Thor. If you actually read Thor, and know how the hammer works, you will know that the "worthiness" enchantment does not turn "on/off" at the will of thor, which is essentially what Busiek's explanation was in that crossover. Get your act together. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Kamen Rider Kabuto (talk • contribs) June 23, 2007.
