Hi! Why did you delete my article again? I added as much information about him as I could find, and i think it was as good as it could be. --Iluvlipstick 14:50, 21 June 2007 (UTC)
Etom is back at it again.
He's continuing his trolling screed and personal attacks. After you and I both warned him, he left the following edits:
- This response on his talk page
- This message at Hillary Clinton talkpage
- This edit where he blanks the article history at Hillary Clinton
This wouldn't be as funny if I were a Democrat. I'm not. Not that it matters to him, or you, but I haven't voted for a Democrat in my entire life. That only makes his rediculous screed more pointless and humorous. If you could please take care of this as you see fit, I would be most appreciative. --Jayron32|talk|contribs 00:36, 26 May 2007 (UTC)

Thanks for the support, man. As a curiosity look at this edit. After all my hard work typing out that rationale! Ceoil 21:17, 26 May 2007 (UTC)

Ah, I wish I had known before you had flown! The things I could have told you about Havana! Is Papa still propping up the bar at El Floridita? They do not, incidentally, do the best daiquiris in the city, not by a long measure. Anyway, I hope you enjoyed your trip. Best wishes. Clio the Muse 22:36, 26 May 2007 (UTC)
My Rfa
Hello, The Rambling Man. Thank you so much for your strong support on my recent Rfa, it succeeded! I feel thrilled to bits and hope to live up to your expectations. If you spot me messing things up, feel free to shout at me :) Have a great holiday, and take good care! Best, PeaceNT 12:02, 27 May 2007 (UTC)

I've nominated Scotland national football team at WP:FAC. I'm not sure whether the article is totally ready (though I believe it meets the criteria) but at least we'll see what people think about it. Kanaye 16:35, 29 May 2007 (UTC)
Paul Collingwood FA
Hi Rambling Man, I have been keeping the page up to date as best as I can on a part time basis, but it seems Ive checked the queue for FA repeatedly and BOTH dates were not accepted. Is there further action needed in this regard? —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 209.90.173.78 (talk • contribs).
Admin Coaching
Hey buddy. I should have told you earlier, and for that I apologize, but I have been nominated for adminship by Majorly, and I decided to accept. I hope I did not waste your time, nor upset you whatsoever by requesting admin-coaching from you, then go and accept an Rfa while you were in Cuba. Either way, please let me know, and I hope you are enjoying/enjoyed your holiday! Jmlk17 02:17, 1 June 2007 (UTC)
RfC
Just wanted to let you know that I opened an RfC on myself in response to the concerns raised during my RfA over my actions in the Gary Weiss dispute. The RfC is located here and I welcome any comments or questions you may have. CLA 09:35, 2 June 2007 (UTC)
YechielMan's RFA
Thank you for participating in either of my unsuccessful requests for adminship. Although the experience was frustrating, it showed me some mistakes I was making, and I hope to learn from those mistakes.
Please take a few minutes to read User:YechielMan/Other stuff/RFA review and advise me how to proceed. Best regards. YechielMan 21:57, 4 June 2007 (UTC)
Flickr photos
Hope you're enjoying your holiday. Thought you might like to know that this chap has some good pictures of various Ipswich players before the Watford-Ipswich FA Cup game (and a very nice stitched image of Vicarage Road). I know virtually nothing about picture rules, but perhaps he could be persuaded to upload them? Said profile could be you, of course, but I thought I'd let you know! Message from User:220.253.93.181
Thank you for informing me that someone edited the page October 22 on Wikipedia using this IP address. The edit in question (reguarding a Bulgarian football player/gangsta [sic] by the name of Luchy Popstoev) is in fact vandalism and I don't know how it originated from this IP address. I do, however, know that there's a student at my school whose name is Luchy Popstoev and this is the kind of thing he would say about himself. Everybody using this IP address denies editing the page and I believe them (although I have suspiscions reguarding my little brother). Thank you for taking the time to contact me and feel free to do it again in the event that something like this happens again. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 220.253.93.181 (talk • contribs).

I know you didn't get the chance to add your support to the Derry City F.C. FAC in the end-up, but I just wanted to say thanks very much for the help and suggestions you gave throughout the peer-review and nominations. Hope you had a good holiday. Cheers. RE: Sir Bobby
Thanks, I'd be delighted to assist in anyway possible in order to push the article to FA standard. Dave101→talk 21:13, 11 June 2007 (UTC)
- I'm a Stoke fan, so no specific interest really! I just enjoy working on football biographies in general. The article I've probably worked on most significantly is Tony Pulis, but other than that I've just tried to improve any football biographies where I think I can assist. Peer review of Margate F.C.
Hi Rambling (can I call you Rambling without seeming over familiar? :-) )
You made some excellent comments on the Peer Review of Gillingham F.C. and I was wondering, if you had a spare moment or ten, if you could maybe take a look at another PR I've put up, namely this one. I've only had one response so far and I'd really like the input of at least one more experienced WP:FOOTBALL editor before I put it up for FA.
All the best

Hi - I hope all is well with you. I understand that a user can submit himself for 'edit review' (or something similarly titled) whereby he has his posts reviewed for advice re improvement/quality of contributions etc. I'd be interested in having my contributions so far reviewed - do you know how I go about it? Thanks. --EH74DK 18:06, 14 June 2007 (UTC)

US Palermo Peer Review
Thanks for your suggestions. Many of your ones have been made into practice, however I had to contest a couple of them because I don't have the means to fix them. I am basically talking about the noted players and managers issue, and the presence of the youth squad (it's present in almost all top-flight clubs articles, sometimes even subpaged). Feel free to give me some additional suggestion for these issues. --Angelo 21:42, 14 June 2007 (UTC)
- I've fixed it all, have a look at it if you can. I also created a standalone article for the whole club history. I also plan to go to the national library of Florence next week to find some more reliable sources for the early history (I still have a very few doubts about the club foundation and its early figures); I know about a few possible books they should have there which should cover the issue in a clearer way. --Angelo 16:55, 18 June 2007 (UTC)

EXCUSE ME??? I think you must be confused. I wasn't vandalising OR adding inappropriate pages. I was RE-adding a page for a book series, or is that not allowed?
I think i'm just gonna wait here for you to fix your mistake. I better go before I start yelling at you.
Btw, if it was just honestly a mistake then I forgive you. Maybe.
- The article was deleted for being blatant advertising for a non-notable book series. Provide evidence of notability with verifiable reliable sources and it wouldn't have been deleted. There was no mistake, if you "start yelling" at me, you'll find yourself blocked. Thanks. The Rambling Man 07:14, 21 June 2007 (UTC)

Hello. I just started what will be a more extensive entry on Nightmusic. This was a groudn breaking Televised music/video show that was the PRECURSOR and INSPIRATION of MTV and many if not all subsequent similar efforts. You deleted it. Please explain why. I put a lot of effort into that initial paragraph only to have it blanked out by yourself - Mister Happy Sunshine —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Misterhappysunshine (talk • contribs).
- It was deleted under speedy criterion WP:CSD#A7 as it failed to assert any kind of notability. Before recreating the article, I would advise you to familiarise yourself with the various policies such as verifiability and reliable sources to avoid disappointment in the future. Cheers. The Rambling Man 11:44, 21 June 2007 (UTC)
You stepped over the line
You have no idea who or how serious I am. Deleting my article is like defacing a work of art. Thank you but it is niether necessary nor a sign of anything close to enlightenment. Kindly refrain from vandalizing another human beings contributions to the general good. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Misterhappysunshine (talk • contribs).
- You're right, I have no idea who or how serious you are. However, I do have an idea which policies your article consistently fails to comply with, i.e notability through verifiable sources. Continuing to recreate the article may curtail your editing capability. The Rambling Man 12:00, 21 June 2007 (UTC)
Bully Behaviour
I spend an hour of my life crafting a first paragraph to what will be an extended article and you summarily delete it? You appear not to understand the meaning of this Wikipedia thing. Perhaps it's you who should go to the sandbox. I will continue to work on my article and to enter it. You may continue to delete it but I will, in the end prevail. Thanks Misterhappysunshine 12:04, 21 June 2007 (UTC)
- An hour to create that? What are you using to type? Telekinesis? The JPStalk to me 12:05, 21 June 2007 (UTC)
- You must assert notability or the article will continue to be deleted. If is continually recreated it will then be protected from recreation. Your edits will be considered vandalism and you will be blocked from editing. Please read the policies I've outlined above. The Rambling Man 12:06, 21 June 2007 (UTC)
Bossaball
Why delete the bossaball article? There are over 20 links to it from other pages on wikipedia. You are breaking all those links. Bossaball get's over 60000 hits on Google. Sounds notable to me. Bossaball deserves an article. Rracecarr 15:25, 21 June 2007 (UTC)
-
- Instead of just whinging that it's been deleted even though it's got 60,000+ google hits, why don't you try taking a few of those 60,000 websites and using them as sources to establish notability that can be verified? If you don't like the article being deleted, try fixing the problems that got it deleted instead of reposting it and/or complaining. Don't expect other people to be bothered helping establish notability and work on the article for you if you can't even be bothered to establish the most basic of notability yourself. DarkSaber2k 15:27, 21 June 2007 (UTC)
Work with me please
Hello The Rambling Man,
I am new to contributing to wikipedia. My first entry was going to be about an insurance company located in downtown Manhattan that I wanted to recognize for their spectacular work. I checked all the guidelines for starting a new article and thought that I could write a professional entry for this company. While I was working on this, however, I noticed that you deleted the article. I believe that what you saw was just a work in progress and had great potential. Please get back to me concerning the deletion of this article, maybe you could allow me to finish my first article so I may move on to other, greater contributions.
Thank you, Ward.internship 15:32, 21 June 2007 (UTC)
- edit* Just after posting this comment I read the comment from the user above me and wanted to add a few words. This company has gotten news recognition and has been established since 1949. If there is anything else you would like to know regarding its notability please let me know and I would be glad to answer. I would really like my first article to succeed, please work with me on rethinking your move to delete it before I was able to complete it.
Thanks, Ward.internship 15:38, 21 June 2007 (UTC)
More moans
man i dont know what you're taklin bout, how is it inappropriate? I work at a record company and it's my job to promote. I am simply making this article not about a friend or myself but it is about an upcoming hip hop artist named MerCee, so whats the problem? How else would he get on wikipedia
Amin
Come-on man, you cant delete every page you can find, plus all other companies have websites so why shouldnt this website? Please it took me a while to write the article, is it possible to put it up again? —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Aminronaghi (talk • contribs).
Hilario romero
I just saw your repeated deletion of Hilario romero, and, though I don't want to wheel war, I feel that CSD A7 doesn't apply. The article certainly asserted the subject's notability (figure in Chicano civil rights movement). Whether or not the person meets the notability standards could be up for debate, but it was asserted. I'll leave what to ultimately do with the page up to you, but I just felt I should inform you of what I thought. --Mr. Lefty (talk) 17:25, 21 June 2007 (UTC)

Disambiguation
Hi there. Could you point me in the direction of a page that tells you how to set up a disambiguation page, and have users redirected to it when they type in the name? I'm thinking in terms of the page that comes up when you type 'Ian Henderson' into the search box - I need to set one up for the various people called Jimmy Hill who have articles on here...........thanks!--EH74DK 18:12, 21 June 2007 (UTC)
