User talk:The Ostrich

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Hello Ostrich.

I was editing the mammal page today and noticed some of your changes. While I appreciate your cleaning up of my sometimes akward language, is there some reason you deleted the line about diphyodonty? Teeth are critical to mammal evolution, both the development of heterodonty and diphyodonty.

I'm looking for clarification about what you meant about the invasion of Afghanistan. Were you referring to the late-20th-century Soviet invasion, or to the 2001-2002 US invasion?

Not trying to start a debate: just wondering which one you meant.

... and by the way, welcome to Wikipedia! -- Ed Poor

[edit] Paine Elevations

I would be interested in discussing this subject with you because I have researched it myself at some length. In my opinion, the source of the controversies is a gross exaggeration in the claimed 3,050 metre elevation of Cerro Paine Grande. Viewfinder 13:42, 27 November 2006 (UTC)
