Welcome to Wikipedia. We invite everyone to contribute constructively to our encyclopedia. Take a look at the welcome page if you would like to learn more about contributing. However, unconstructive edits are considered vandalism, and if you continue in this manner you may be blocked from editing without further warning. Please stop, and consider improving rather than damaging the work of others. Thank you. Fan-1967 02:54, 20 July 2006 (UTC)
[edit] A phone call is worth...
Whether anybody used it before is irrelevant. Nobody cares that you used it now. If by chance somebody starts to care, and the expression spreads, then it might deserve an article. Right now it's just something some guy said on the phone. Do not attempt to delete others' comments again. Fan-1967 02:59, 20 July 2006 (UTC)

[edit] no problem
Fan_1967 slipped up and was less friendly than we try to be to newcomers, but to extend him a little sympathy, we get a lot of really malicious or self-serving editors sometimes and it's easy for experienced editors to get frustrated dealing with them and then start taking it out on anyone who does anything wrong, whether intentionally or not. I think that's what happened here. He expressed some regret over the incident in the AfD page about your phone call article, if that helps. Regards, Phr (talk) 23:43, 21 July 2006 (UTC) (P.S. please sign your discussion posts with four tilde characters (~), not hyphens (-).
- To echo what Phr said, I was too quick to jump the gun, and the only excuse I can offer is that I had had issues with another editor and was maybe a bit testy. I realize that new editors are often unaware of the rules and can do the wrong thing without intening to. I'm sorry, and hope you'll stick around. I notice you have been doing some work on hockey articles and I'm sure you could make some great contributions there. Fan-1967 00:59, 22 July 2006 (UTC)
