[edit] Kashmir

Thanks. I agree that there is violence there by the state and you have every right to mention that as you did. But when people begin to talk about religion as you did later, you know, it kind of gets "violent", so I am glad that you will avoid this on non-religion articles. Once again, thanks and if you have any concerns, feel free to drop me a message. --Anonymous editor June 29, 2005 05:01 (UTC)

Thank you for your kind words on my defense. --Anonymous editor June 30, 2005 20:20 (UTC)

[edit] Talk:Kashmir

I have gone through all your comments on the page Talk:Kashmir. I am writing this because you have been continously criticising India and launching personal attacks on some of the editors. I do understand that there is alot of POV in the article which needs to be checked. But the way you have expressed yr objections to it has made matters worse.

You have some serious questions on India's integrity and I would like to answer them:

  1. You say that: Muslims are tortured in India; Can you please state a notable source for this claim. India has the world's 2nd largest muslim population (refer CIA factsbook) and many of them hold key high positions. Consider Abdul Kalam (India's president) and all the Bollywood actors with their surname as Khans. Some of the muslims are the most respected entities in India and this proves that in India respect is given for a person's qualities irrespective of his/her religion. Every national party in India has a muslim leader including the BJP and Congress.
  2. You say that: ABSOLUTELY NO Kashmiri feels safe in India today because of India'a notorious human rights record. Pick up any report by a neutral western human rights organisation and you will be shocked to see it dripping wet with the blood of 80,000 Kashmiri dead bodies - souls that, for example, were picked up in the middle of the night by uniformed Indian savages dressed as Indian army soldiers, unleashing India's blind fury on the unarmed populace of Kashmir, who were accused only of being muslim; Again, can you place state the source for this claim. Refer to the Amnesty Report which praises Indian Govt. for dealing w/ human right abusers wether it be Indian soldiers or Kashmiri insurgents. I do not say that Indian soldiers are innocent but the crimes done by them are negligiable compared to those done by Kashmiri insurgents. and refering to those uniformed savages episode, those who were murdered were Kashmiri pundits and not muslims and they were killed by insurgents dressed as Indian army soldiers.
  3. You say that: India has been exposed to the world for what it really is-a merciless and cowardly tyrant; Which newspaper do you read? Tell this to a westerner. I am sure he will be surprised.
  4. You say that: Sooner or later, India will pay dearly for the crimes against humanity that it has committed and continues to commite unabated, because Kashmiris will NEVER forgive India. Each and every Indian atrocity will be avenged some day; Indian soldiers have commited a attrocities but it seems from yr comment that Indians have waged an all out war against the muslims. To sad for you that pro-Indian Kashmiri political parties like PDP and National Conference are supported by 65 percent of the MUSLIM population in Indian-administered Kashmir. Don't believe, refer to the previous J&K state poll results.
  5. You say that: Why does India continue to usurp the Kashmiri people's right of self determination? And then act as though it had the moral high ground? IT DOES NOT; the very fact that there is a democraticaly elected J&K state govt. proves the respect we have for Kashmiri right of self determination unlike Pakistan. BTW, I free extremely sorry that u guys don't have democracy in Pakistan. Your govt. must value yr right for self determination.
  6. You say that: Secular India? Indians are always beating the drum of being secular. I don't think these people even know the word's definition. A recent case in point: the massacre of 3000 Indian muslim men, women and children by being burnt alive by other non-muslim (mostly hindu) Indians, in the state of Gujrat; OK now this is one section where I agree with you. Gujarat will be a black spot in Indian history. But let me tell you, that it were the muslims who ignited the riots. It was Gujarat govt. who was rsponsible for the attrocities and you can't blame the entire country for it that.
  7. You say that: NOT A SINGLE person has been brought to justice and probabaly never will be; Refer to the Best Bakery case. Prime witness Ms. Sheikh has constantly been changing her stand on the case. Finally, tehlka.com exposed that she had taken bribe from BJP. Now, even if the muslims don't wanna accuse those guilty, then what can Indian judiciary do?
  8. You say that: These Indian babboons DON'T belong in the paradise that is Kashmir. They should go back where they came from. They belong in the savage jungle, which is India. And when they do (which they inevitably will), they will NOT be missed by a single Kashmiri; Let me tell you that in 1947, 30 percent of Kashmiri population was Hindu and 10 percent was Buddhists. The policy of Ethnic cleansing being carried by out Kashmiri insurgents has reduced their population remarkably. I think you should try and gather more info regarding Kashmiri history so as to figure out who actually belongs to Kashmir.
  9. You say that: Why hasn't India been declared a terrorist state?; LOL

The difference between you and us Indians is that: We are driven more by intellect and less by passion, unlike you. Thanks --Grubb 2 July 2005 02:54 (UTC)

Come on Grubb let's not try to create anymore conflict. There are comments made by both sides which anyone can find offensive and I don't think teaming up on a particular user is going to make it any better. This is all personal point of view and even the "sources" are biased. Thanks and I hope you will stop anymore encitement of religious conflict. --Anonymous editorJuly 2, 2005 03:41 (UTC)
Nonetheless, I would have been interesed to read a rebuttal from the Bulldozer to what Grubb has said. Though the validity of his claims is debatable, he clearly has immense knowledge of Kashmir and the conflict there. 172.203.231.73 19:41, 9 July 2005 (UTC)
