[edit] PassMark Software Pty Ltd

Hi there. I deleted the article because it appeared to be an advert - listing the company's products with no other context. The article could also have been deleted under CSD A7, i.e. no assertion of notability. This requires independent third party references (such as articles in national newspapers or major trade journals) about the company to prove it is notable. In addition, you shouldn't add "Pty Ltd" to an article's title - the WP:COMMONNAME is enough. пﮟოьεԻ 57 09:06, 5 October 2007 (UTC)

Hello again. Yes, those articles you mentioned are pretty poor stuff - I've nominated them for deletion too, but nevertheless, WP:OTHERSTUFFEXISTS is not a valid reason for creating an article. пﮟოьεԻ 57 08:34, 9 October 2007 (UTC)
I nominated all three for speedy deletion. Two of them (Everest and SiSoftware) were deleted, but one of them was kept by an admin on the basis that having patented software was a very vague assertion of notability, though he said it probably wouldn't survive a full WP:AfD process. If you have a complaint about fairness, you could bring it up on the WT:CSD. пﮟოьεԻ 57 08:15, 10 October 2007 (UTC)
