[edit] Removal of Castaways

There was no article created at the time. If the game is significantly different from the PC version enough to warrant its own article and someone creates it, the link can be added.--Crossmr 12:44, 20 July 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Archos - "Series" discussion

All but the latest Gen 4 and 5 players came as part of a named series by Archos, Archos has always reffered to them with the "series" ending else they would be specifying a single player. You cited the "Gmini Series" as an example, but as it is an older generation it would be harder to show the proof but if you go to Archos's online store you'll some more universal accessories listed as compatible with the "gmini series", your referred link showed specific players. Again, it would be better to see this as the company presents it rather than comparing to other products, but you did state "ipod classic series" for example would be improper because it is a single product (like saying "archos 604 series"), and "ipod series" would be improper because it is the name of the brand (like saying "archos" series). again you've cited brands as examples, "sansa" and "Zen", archos however doesn't use a separate brand for their PMPs.
Archos has used the "series" ending with even the generation 4, originally called "04 series" (branded on the players themselves). The name was changed with generation 5 announcement.
Your point, however, seems valid for when they refer to, for example, single AV series models by series. The AV500, is often called by "AV500 series" (just like the "Sansa e200 series") because each capacity option came under a different name (AV530, AV5100 etc). Like you said, it was to encompass the related players so in fact I have removed the "series" ending from the players in the article already, and have left th PMA400 similarly (it came as PMA420/PMA430) TMV943 (talk) 23:45, 7 December 2007 (UTC)
