[edit] J. K. Rowling

Hi there, consensus amongst the editors who work on this project is that the correct designation is English not British. Please do not make this change again as one of the editors will revert it. AulaTPN 09:42, 16 July 2007 (UTC)

Hi, I object to such consensus, as I have stated here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Talk:Harry_Potter

and here http://insatiableyucca.wordpress.com/2007/07/16/geeky-deed-of-the-day/

What are your reasons for 'English' rather than 'British'? —Preceding unsigned comment added by TheNullo (talkcontribs)

Unfortunately that's not the point. As you're new to Wikipedia I'm assuming you've not read any of the policies that govern how things work around here? Wikipedia is a collaboration and as such is built on consensus - the opinion of the individual carries little weight compared to the majority view unfortunately. To get you started I suggest you have a good read of WP:NPOV, WP:V, WP:NOT, WP:OR, WP:BLP, WP:EDIT and WP:MOS for starters. AulaTPN 09:58, 16 July 2007 (UTC)
