[edit] The New Detroit/Urban Development In Detroit
Hey guys I have created an Article that was Titled New Detroit,but was moved to Detroit Urban Development.Thank you all so much for editing and adding what you could!It is now an article that has no problems according to Wiki so again THANKS SO MUCH!! TheCoolOne99 16:41, 27 July 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Detroit intro
TooCool, thanks for the Detroit edits, agree with your statements, most of which are noted in the article. However, it is unwise to add things to the introduction, this upsets the anti-Detroit crowd for some reason and creates too much turmoil. Also what is wrong with grouping the consulate list on the same line? Send me a message. Thomas Paine1776 19:00, 14 July 2007 (UTC)
CoolOne, agree with the above. A lot of what you've added is farther down in the body of the article. Putting this in the intro has the sound of "Detroit isn't as bad as you've heard", which I don't think is your objective or ours. Acroterion (talk) 19:04, 14 July 2007 (UTC)

[edit] The North Woods(Detroit)
A {{prod}} template has been added to the article The North Woods(Detroit), suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice explains why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may contest the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}}
notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page. Also, please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. If you endorse deletion of the article, and you are the only person who has made substantial edits to the page, please tag it with {{db-author}}. older ≠ wiser 22:17, 18 July 2007 (UTC)
[edit] AfD Nomination: The North Woods(Detroit)
Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia! We welcome and appreciate your contributions, but all Wikipedia articles must meet our criteria for inclusion (see What Wikipedia is not and Deletion policy). Since it does not seem that The North Woods(Detroit) meets these criteria, an editor has started a discussion about whether this article should be kept or deleted.
Your opinion on whether this article meets the inclusion criteria is welcome. Please contribute to the discussion by adding your comments at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/The North Woods(Detroit). Don't forget to add four tildes (~~~~) at the end of each of your comments to sign them.
Discussions such as these usually last five days. In the meantime, you are free to edit the content of the article. Please do not remove the "articles for deletion" template (the box at the top). When the discussion has concluded, a neutral third party will consider all comments and decide whether or not to delete the article. -- older ≠ wiser 01:42, 19 July 2007 (UTC)
[edit] License tagging for Image:DetroitDolgin1.JPG
Thanks for uploading Image:DetroitDolgin1.JPG. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.
For more information on using images, see the following pages:
This is an automated notice by OrphanBot. If you need help on selecting a tag to use, or in adding the tag to the image description, feel free to post a message at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. 20:06, 29 August 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Tourism in metropolitan Detroit
Please take a look at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Tourism in metropolitan Detroit, you may want to have some input. Thanks Thomas Paine1776 21:40, 17 September 2007 (UTC)
BTW, have you added your name to Wikipedia:WikiProject Michigan/Members
[edit] Speedy deletion of Cadillac center
A tag has been placed on Cadillac center, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article seems to be blatant advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become an encyclopedia article. Please read our the guidelines on spam as well as the Wikipedia:Business' FAQ for more information.
If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}}
to the top of the page (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the article's talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. [edit] Urban development in Detroit
Another editor has added the {{prod}}
template to the article Urban development in Detroit, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but the editor doesn't believe it satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and has explained why in the article (see also Wikipedia:What Wikipedia is not and Wikipedia:Notability). Please either work to improve the article if the topic is worthy of inclusion in Wikipedia or discuss the relevant issues at its talk page. If you remove the {{prod}}
template, the article will not be deleted, but note that it may still be sent to Wikipedia:Articles for deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. BJBot (talk) 07:00, 22 February 2008 (UTC)
