A resident of New Jersey since 1986, TheHighwaysEnd is a die-hard fan of the New Jersey Devils, and has been quoted as saying that they are the only sports team he cares about. In addition, T.H.E. is a fan of the entire National Hockey League, and will adopt teams to root for when his has been eliminated from post-season contention. Although T.H.E. has only informal street hockey to his credit of athletic ability, this does not in any way affect his unbridled passion for the greatest sport on earth.

T.H.E. graduated from Ramapo College in 2007, where he spent much of his time playing fantasy hockey. He lists his all time favorite Devil as Claude Lemieux.

T.H.E. lists his two most memorable Devils games of which he was in attendance as the following:

• The 2003 Stanley Cup Finals, Game 2
• The 2007 Eastern Conference Semifinals, Game 2: Jamie Langenbrunner's double-overtime goal.

T.H.E. was also present for the first ever game at Prudential Center, and is a Devils season ticket holder.
