[edit] Synopsis

Template:Spoiler Beavis and Butt-head sit at home, watching T.V., when the ground shakes and the sound of a lightning bolt striking echoes. The room’s lights go out, as does the T.V., and after a few seconds, the pair notice that something is wrong. They try to change the channel, despite the T.V. being off, and realise that it doesn’t work either. A police car drives round the corner of the street, informing people on the loud speaker that there has been a small transformer explosion at the power plant, and that power will be restored soon. Beavis and Butt-head still can’t figure out what’s wrong with the T.V., so they begin to kick it. Butt-head comes up with the idea of watching T.V. somewhere else. They make their way down town, where mass rioting and looting is in progress. Eventually, they find David Van Driessen, who is directing traffic in the stead of the traffic lights, despite receiving abuse. Mr. Driessen says that he needs to help at the emergency centre, and asks that the pair take over directing traffic. Mr Driessen talks them into doing it, and tells them how to direct the traffic, and then leaves. The two stand in the middle of the road with cars driving past very quickly, and realise that they need to wave the cars through. They begin to do so, and start to count to 50 before changing, but they find counting difficult, and by changing prematurely cause many car crashes. After more car crashes, they realise that Stewart’s dad was in one of the cars and is injured. After asking what happened, they tell him their T.V. broke, and – despite his cries of pain – ask if they can watch it at his house. Template:Endspoiler
