User:The Community is currently a WP:SOCK of User:Abd, who is, with the establishment of this account, volunteering to serve as a "secretary" for the Wikipedia community. This account will not be used for any controversial edits unless specifically authorized by the community, following sufficient process to establish the legitimacy of this.
Any opinions expressed on this page are the opinions of the owner of this account, and conditions established are his or her proposals for guidelines for the use of this account.
This account may be blocked on sight by any administrator if engaging in any contentious edits or promotion of any POV that is merely the personal opinion of the editor, as an individual, or the personal opinion of any exclusive caucus of Wikipedia editors.
The Wikipedia community may determine that this account is inappropriate, through normal process, in which The Community will not participate as this user, but may participate as the current account owner.
The owner of this account may shift as determined by consensus of the community, acting directly or though other process to be established. This account is merely a servant of the entire community, and has no authority to govern, only to communicate when and as authorized by the community.
No action is made necessary by the establishment of this account, and this account will specifically speak for only the community of those who have authorized it, directly or indirectly, to do so. As such, it may not claim that "the community" holds any controversial opinion; but it may report that a certain percentage of a certain number of users participating directly or indirectly have approved of such an opinion or judgement. That is, any edits by this account will be rigorously NPOV, not excluding the opinion of any registered Wikipedia user as non-notable.
No claim of rights is made for this account that do not accrue to any ordinary Wikipedia editor, and there is no claim of exclusivity; that is, other accounts could be registered at the discretion of any editor that similarly claim to represent the community, and this user will not oppose such; the legitimacy of any of these accounts, including this one, may be determined through ordinary process.
This account will not be used for any purpose beyond edits to the attached Talk page unless authorized by at least one other editor, in a comment there.
This page may be edited to modify any of these guidelines, following normal rules for User pages. The account owner may revert, without restriction, any of these edits not seen, in the judgment of the owner, as fostering the purpose of community service.
