Ultraman Cosmos: The Blue Planet (ウルトラマンコスモス2 THE BLUE PLANET Urutoraman Kosumosu Tsū: Za Burū Puranetto?) is Ultraman Cosmos theatrical film adaptation, was released in Japan on August 3, 2002. It is a tokusatsu film series Ultraman franchise, it also direct sequel to the original Ultraman Cosmos television series.

Once again, Musashi has encounter Ultraman Cosmos. Now Cosmos has gained some new modes to defeat Scropis. Musashi has joined Team Sea to save the Blue Area. But there is mysterious evil monster, Sandros, who wants to destroy the Earth. Now it’s up Musashi and Cosmos to defeat Sandros and who’s the other Ultraman?

[edit] Eclipse Mode

Introduced in episode 30, and Ultraman Cosmos: The Blue Planet, and the Final Battle. this third form of Ultraman Cosmos represents Cosmos' courageous side. He is a red, blue, silver, and gold giant, with a symmetrical design. The yellow that covers his chest and shoulders represents courage. The yellow gem on his fin is known as the "Pluck Spot."

Eclipse Mode is "Like the overflowing flare of when sun and moon overlap in an 'annular solar eclipse,' a mysterious giant" ('annular' means forming or shaped like a ring).

    • Running Speed (Eclipse Run): Mach 3
    • Aquatic Speed (Eclipse Swim): Mach 2

    • Power punch: Used in the second movie, a 1 hit KO punch after charging with light.

He is a purplish-blue with a symmetrical design. It has great abilities in space areas. The crescent fin is now wedge-shaped, and it is decorated in front by an oblong blue gem known as the "Spacy Spot."

    • Matrix Kick: 1 hit KO kick. Flying or ground kick

It was in Musashi’s dream. It’s almost the same type as Corona mode but invisible. The crescent fin is now wedge-shaped, and it is decorated in front by an oblong invisible gem known as the "Phantom Spot."

  • Flight Speed: Mach 13
  • Crusher Weapons:
    • Dagrium Ray
    • Justice Beam
    • Palm Blast
    • Energy Give
    • Fusion: In Crusher mode, Justice is able to merge with Ultraman Cosmos in order to create one, all powerful Ultra being: Ultraman Legend. In the movie, they do so unintentionally.

Cross Perfection: Justice can combine his power with Ultraman Cosmos' power, and both will release a super-powered energy beam from their hands. Cosmos releases a blue beam from his right arm, and Justices releases an orange one from his left. Before hitting the target, the two combine into one, large beam of green energy. Can destoy monsters in one blow. The ultimate attack.
