The book examines the influence that the Israel Lobby allegedly has over the United States Government.
It purports to expose the degree to which pro-Israeli groups are able to suppress free debate, compromise national secrets, and shape US foreign policy.
Congressman Findley focuses on individuals who have stood up to the pro-Israeli forces and brings out their statements and observations on the Middle East and American foreign policy toward Israel.
The book is one of a growing number similar to its kind by professors, academics, scholars and Government officials.
It has become a Washington Best Seller.[citation needed]
