[edit] Character Information
Theresa Russo is a typical mother. She's fussy, caring and can be pretty embarrassing. Unlike her children, she is a mortal. Theresa lives in Waverly in Manhattan with her husband (and former wizard), Jerry Russo and her children: Alex, Justin , Max. She owns a sandwich shop called the Waverly Sub Station with her husband, in which her children and Alex's friend Harper work at. In a later episode, however, Harper no longer works at the sandwich shop, and continues not to.
Theresa stated that she is from Mexico and is a "Proud Latina". She tries to get her children to learn about her and their heritage. She used to play guitar for an all-girl mariatchi band although she really couldn't play it.
