There and Back: Ashley Parker Angel was a MTV reality television series than ran for 10 weeks in early 2006. It chronicled the efforts of former O-Town member Ashley Parker Angel to launch a solo career while providing for his new family. In the show, Ashley must manage to balance his career while also having to provide for his fiancee, Tiffany, and his new son, Lyric (whose birth was the very first shown on MTV). The show debuted on January 9th 2006 and ended with the season/series finally on March 13th 2006. The show may have added to the successful release of Angel's first solo CD Soundtrack to Your Life which went onto to be Certified Gold.
